I do like this book. It has great pictures and a lot of information. I never knew there were so many breeds of cat! For the longest time I thought there was just one or two different breeds. The book talks about their heritage and a little about their temperament. It is fun to flip through and I have guests who occasionally go through it.
What I don't love about it is that I really don't feel there is a lot of information. It's just short blurbs about the breeds, but doesn't talk about any in depth. The book doesn't say anything negative about any breeds which seems unrealistic to me. I want to be able to read and really feel like I know a lot about the cat, its fur type, temperament, potential health issues, life expectancy, etc. But it's pretty basic information.
Do I regret buying this book? No. All in all it's pretty nice and the pictures are beautiful. But is it what I was hoping for? Meh.
