Brandon Hernández is a native San Diegan and his hometown's most prolific craft beer journalist. In addition to his work as a columnist for the San Diego Reader, he is a columnist for Celebrator Beer News, Pacific San Diego Magazine, Ranch & Coast Magazine and West Coaster. He has contributed articles to USA TODAY, the Los Angeles Times, All About Beer Magazine, Imbibe, The Beer Connoisseur, Beer Magazine, Beer West, The New Brewer, Wine Enthusiast, San Diego Magazine, U-T San Diego, Edible San Diego, Riviera, San Diego Home/Garden-Lifestyles, Tasting Table and a variety of other national and regional publications.
In addition to his work as an award-winning writer, he is the Senior Communications Specialist for Stone Brewing Co., has served as a San Diego editor for Zagat, and is a consultant to Food Network. What does come across is that the author knows his stuff and it does seem like he did the research for this book I would just like a little more info on the brewery and beers available.
