This is a great book into looking in to the roots of celtic religions for someone who knows absolutely nothing. I have loaned it to several friends and it was easy for them to understand.

Well Rounded Peek at Celtic Wisdom
Reviewed in Canada on May 24, 2015Verified Purchase
This is a really fun book - like most idiot's guides are. It is a wonderful introduction to everything Celtic. It doesn't go into a lot of detail about things, but it does give an excellent overview, right from a brief history of the Celts, which is probably as accurate as most other histories of these mysterious people. One thing that comes through quite clear in the book is that Celticism is not like a Sunday religion where you go to church and that's pretty much it for the rest of the week. He stresses that Celticism is a lifestyle - a way of thinking about the world around us and ourselves. Anyone who is interested in exploring a Celtic way of life should get this book. I would also recommend Peter Beresford Ellis's books, A Brief History of The Celts, and A Brief History of the Druids for a more in depth look at the early years of these people.
