Alexander is still keeping secrets from Clara, and he also does something that has her kicking him out of their bedroom and her life for two weeks. So for them, it's "the more things change, the more they stay the same."
Belle and Smith are still mourning the loss of their unborn child and are debating on whether or not they are ready to try again.
Edward and David have yet to pick a date for their wedding and the pressure to get married keeps mounting for Edward.
Both Smith and Alexander receive some unsettling news about their respective pasts and both have to find ways to deal with the information, while trying to keep their wives from finding out.
This was a good book, but despite being romantic at times, I wasn't sure what the point was to this multi-arced story. The plot lines added nothing to the story except shock value. The editing was also poorly done, so that detracted a lot from the story.
But aside from the negative aspects of this story, I still love Alexander and Clara.
And I was so excited when it popped up on my kindle, finally I would get my Royals fix.
But then I started to read Complete Me, and sadly I got a little "disappointed".
Don't get me wrong, I loved meeting all the Royals agian - A reunion with all of them who won my heart in the previous books.
But I felt the story was missing something.
The "drama" part could have been more dramatic, I felt like the conclusion came a little to easily.
I wished for more sass!
BUT!! Lord have mercy - those who wait! Finally! I got what I wished for when it comes to other things; happiness, love and famiy.
This sounds a bit negative, but Ms Geneva managed to make me cry ceveral times during this read. The story her characters told touched my heart, somethings hit close to home.
When an Author ends a book leaving the Reader to want even more, you know you did well. (I want/need more!)
Geneva Lee, you did a god job fitting so much into a less than 200 page book.Well done.
I don't think there is much more I can say about the book, except that I loved it. You already know the couples and probably love X and Smith - those perfect examples of dominant alpha males that can melt your panties with a glance. So I am not going to rave about them or their strong other halves, that showed them what it means to love and be ready to give everything for the person you love.
Apart from my favorite couples, it was great to get a glimpse at Edward and David's life. Read about the difficulties they have to overcome in their relationship and celebrate with them one of the happiest days of their lives :) I also got the chance to get my Lola fix :D I simply love this girl and I hope I get to read her story in the not so distant future :D
So, if you haven't figured it by now, I loved the book :D And I think it is a definite must read for every X and Smith lover out there. But if you are new to the series, keep in mind that this is not a standalone and you have to read the other books in the series before you dive into this one.
Then you have Bella and Smith talk about royal f!$_upness but couldn't me more right for each other there trials and tribulations was unbelievably emotional to the t but I love they way it turned for them
Then the ever lovable Edward and David how they managed in live was extraordinary and so heart warming to see the author take such care with these two and I couldn't want more for them except well maybe I'm not going say for those of you who have read it know what I'm going say
Then you have the other characters how see moves them all.in place and each had there own little part and how well it fit in the story again brilliant
There's nothing I can say about this except she's brilliant extraordinary and she's has my loyalty see what I did there for those who read the book youll know lol no she does I love her writing style her vocalizations on all the characters being secondary or main she has a talent that I've yet to see match when writing this type of book I'm just sad to see it end but maybe she'll do a novella about the royalist a couple years later perhaps just to fill us in on all the lite details we are left wondering about but by all means don't think she left you hanging she didn't she ended it extremely well so thank you Geneva Lee for writing this amazingly brilliant series thank you
