Walking Cane Accessories - Wrist Strap for Cane
This accessory for a cane is a must have. I am usually doing many things while using my cane. This strap just fits around the cane and I can put my wrist through it while walking. If I need to use that hand for getting my wallet out my purse or using my key to get into an unlocked door, all I have to do is let go of the cane and it is still on my wrist to use it again when needed. Some canes to not come with a very functional and necessary accessory cane strap like this. Make sure you by one because you will definately need this to make your assisted walking cane multi useful! This cane holder is priced right, you may need to purchase two for a back-up or another cane. Hey, for you ladies I also bought the pink flowered folding cane. Check this out, it's awesome!

This cane wrist strap does not use an elastic band. Rather, it uses Velcro to wrap around the cane. It does not stretch and holds up well. It is wide and easy to grasp. I have purchased several, one for each cane for my wife and myself. Definitely a good buy.

This is perfect!!! It has a long piece of Velcro that completely wraps around my cane, and holds it snugly. There is no slipping down problem and it can be adjusted to fit any cane. I was amazed that I could tug pretty hard on it and it wouldn't come loose from the cane. It has a nice soft woven nylon strap that is just stiff enough to allow my hand to easily pass through the loop and loop it over my wrist. The strap is long enough to use while using my cane & works great when I need to let my cane "dangle" while I get money/credit card out of my purse. No more looking for a spot to lean my cane against and then having it fall. And then having to use my creaky old body to try to pick it up. No sireee! Now for the confusing part. This ad shows the Velcro strap but my confirming e-mail showed a picture of the kind of strap with the elastic that some people complained about. I had to send a message to the seller to confirm that I was getting the Velcro one. If the same thing happens when you order it, I suggest you contact the seller to confirm. I give this Velcro cane wrist strap an A+

The strap has the elastic loop to go around the cane, and the strap itself is kind of braided -- so it is much classier than the norm. Being a person of small stature, I looped the strap through the piece that connects the strap to the elastic loop to shorten it a little. Works perfectly! I am very pleased, and very glad that I ordered two, so I have one on-hand in case anything happens that I need a spare.

I bought a different cane strap first - one that was meant to be installed by removing the tip of the cane first, and sliding the strap up into position. Only trouble was, I had been using this cane for some time, and did not have the strength to remove the cane tip, which was firmly seated on my cane. So I finally found this strap, and it has turned out to be the right product for me. It has a Velcro closure, so I was able to wrap it around to my desired position, and Velcro it closed. Easy to do, with no extra strength required. Problem solved. The strap is a nylon web material, and appears to be quite durable. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

This is the greatest add-on for a cane. When a person needs to put it down, sometimes the cane will fall or maybe one will forget that the cane is left at a counter. Well, with this device, the cane is attached to a person's wrist with the strap and it is always with you. The strap does not cut into a hand either because it is made of cloth cord. I am glad I got them for the family. I recommend the item and heck, it is inexpensive too.

Not nearly as good as the ones that are elastic. It slides down to the middle of the cane no matter how tight one tries to put it on. I saw some suggestions like,"Use electrical tape to form a thick barrier so the strap can't slide down." I'm not interested in doing that. I've ordered an elastic type. If you have the right kind of cane this item might work okay. It is well made so I gave it three stars.

as described. Not exactly what I need, but I haven't found what I do, so I compromise. I glue one part to the top neck. I find a thick cord. (this one might work, haven't looked at it closely) I cut the end of the cord to fit a triple strapped circle open/close clip end attached to it.Then I strap smallermetal clips (these are all circles where you can gingerly open one end and slide a few items into the metal circle-home and car keys. etc/ you can attach a few other metal circled clips with 'claw openers', to hold other items, i.e., medical papes (folded), canned soda on the openers: careful here~It can become a useful cain. I even use the last to keep my crossword books while waiting in the Doc's office (I'm 100% Disabled Vet) and am there continuosly: Ugh! ) Good luck with these ideas.
