i had the same hair dryer for at least 5 years, it did what it was supposed to but after years of wrapping the cord around the body the cotd had gotten so twisty it was really hard to use. I'd have to give my old Conair a 5 star review but this one deserves at least 10 stars. It has more power but the all time best feature is the cord rewinds with just a push of a button so no twisty nasty cords to contend with.
I've had many hair dryers, most of them Conair, but this time they really got it right. Ease of use, power, and I love that rewind button. Poof and 4 feet of cord is neatly rewound inside the dryer. Fantastic buy especially for the cost.

This hairdryer cannot be used on high for more than 45 seconds. It over-heats extremely fast and turns off. When it turns off you have to unplug it and wait for it to cool down before you can use it again. I know it's a cheap dryer but really I can only dry 1/4th of my hair (I have thin shoulder length hair) before it shuts its self off so it's really not even worth the $15.

Purchased in July 2020. I bought this for travel and soon realized it was larger and heavier than anticipate. Worse, it wouldn't turn on and I kept trying the circuit breaker button. Sometimes it worked, but usually took multiple tries or I would just give up. The retractable cord always left about 20 inches of cord dangling. I just got off the phone with Conair customer service (30 minute wait!). They will replace the unit. I really don't want another one, but maybe I'll get lucky and have one that actually work! (The photo of the hairdryer and cut cord was taken at the request of Conair so they can verify that I have the hairdryer and that it is disabled.)
