The book is well written, except for a few grammatical errors and misspellings along the way.
But even if it had been properly edited for grammar, that effort would not have saved this novel. The writer doesn't understand how the third person "voice" is supposed to function, so sections of the book which are supposed to be objective get slanted to reflect the voice of one of the characters.
I will definitely not be reading any more books by this author.
Just when it looks like things could not get worse, they do get worse. But clues start to unravel and each chapter brings them closer to finding the truth. My only objection to this series is that we need many more books in the series that haven't been written yet. I am a true fan of John Grisham and I feel Perett's books are equal in courtroom suspense.
