This book was recommended to me by a former professor who has extensive background in the teaching of logic of logic and language. Having four other texts dealing with this subject, I often consult different books when searching for differing examples. The C.D. Rom that accompanies the Hurley text is a great source for review and practice, and certainly one of the best parts of owning the book. I only wish other books, dealing with various topics would have C.D. that accompany them.

The book took a little longer to ship and arrive than expected, (about two weeks overdue) but when it finally came, it was in ok shape. What I really liked about the book was that its past owner took notes and highlighted EVERYTHING! So I was happy with the amount of notes and important information highlighted. All in all, a good buy.

This book was a must for class, however, the professor read from the 11th edition and ended up having to order the electronic 11th version off another site for a cheaper price then on Amazon. I did find the CD very helpful in trying to comprehend the lessons. I'm glad this class is over and I'll take a C over a D anyday. I did love the price of the book and will keep it in my arsenal of law books.

Excellent book, will take me a while to get through. Combines verbal and logical elements with good examples and problems to work through. Has applications in electronics (logic gates) programming (combining instructions) as well as philosophy - what a mixture!

Aunque el libro es bueno, lo compré nuevo y me llegó con los problemas resueltos con lápiz.
