- 3 FOLD MAG RECOVERY POUCH
Condor Outdoor found its beginnings early on as a camping goods manufacturer. The earlier days of the company were focused on getting people out into the nature to experience the wonders of the great outdoors. As our product line expanded, the demand for function focused gear opposed to general storage became more prevalent. As the War on Terror continued we found it difficult to keep up with the demand for our products.

The straps are single stitched. Everything is single stitched. One good yank and I guarantee the Velcro straps, the Molle straps, would just tear right off.
The outer shell looks like if you dove to the ground and clipped a rock or a stick, it would just tear right open.
The bungee type cable zips close and doesn't open back up. It takes two hands to strong arm it open. That's not including the little button stopper.
These are big deals when you're trusting your life to gear if you ever had to use it. I do not believe this would last, at all, and for that I'll be returning this.
Awesome color and awesome inside material. The inside material looks and feels great! It makes it seem rich and worth the price. If all you're doing is airsoft or using this as a tool bag or something, this thing would be perfect for you. I just don't believe it's rugged enough to withstand diving to the ground or clipping a tree branch which would tear it apart. The Molle straps kind of fit real Marine Corps Molle. Maybe it was the one I got but they were slightly off. I was still able to make it work and to the average Joe, would be fine for them. The buttons for the straps are also solid, I can't fault them there, they are good. I also like how it rolls up into a small roll.
I've only had it out on one camping trip so far, and I used it as storage for an overnight clothes bag--a function that it performed quite well in! I think, however, that the best function this bag could serve, is as a detachable food container. Personally, I like the idea of all of my food in one place, easily accessible at cooking times and easily removable at day's end, to be hung up high in a tree--far away from my sleeping body and out of reach from any bears that might food might attract. Additionally, I like knowing that none of my food might have accidentally spilled inside my main pack to serve as a lure for any bears, simply because this bag is a self-contained, external food storage bag, and IF any food might accidentally spill from it, that food will be landing on the ground along my hike, instead of inside my bag.
And even if I change my mind and decide to store my food in some other way, the bag could still be used for its intended purpose as a place to store empty magazines when I'm out shooting, and that's PROBABLY all you were looking for in a mag recovery pouch anyhow--right?
All-in-all, I give this bag a 10/10 and I highly recommend adding one to whatever kit you're trying to build!
One critique I've noticed is that the thing does have a large footprint on your gear. So if you have a lot of other things to put on your belt, you might consider smaller options. However, with my style of reloading, I find that the large opening allows me to stow my mags away faster and with less worry that I "missed" and have dropped the mag. But that last part really depends on your techniques when it comes to shooting and reloading.
It's not as compact as the other Condor compact tri-fold pouch but it is much roomier and will hold more mags. And it stays open.
