Confessions Of A Klutz (Confessions Series Book 1) Kindle Edition
Confession One: I was a klutz.
I thought I’d grow out of it, but evidently I didn’t.
It’s not fun to look like a fumbling toddler when you’re twenty-six.
Confession Two: I had a standing appointment at the local ER.
It wasn’t by choice that I knew all the doctors names—it was necessity.
But that was about to change.
Confession Three: I hated the sun yet I lived in LA where it always shone.
I supposed that was one plus to being sent to New York for the next eight weeks.
That was until I got there.
Arm veins, dimples, and THE sexiest voice known to man were my weakness, and he had every single one of them.
Confession Four: He was my new boss.
I could control myself though, right?
The city of dreams…a klutz’s worst nightmare.
Eight weeks. A klutz. And a drool worthy boss.
What did you get when you crossed a klutz with a GQ model lookalike?
I was about to find out.
From Abigail Davies comes a hilarious office romance comedy.

For everyone who loves the racy, rough humor I sincerely believe you’ll enjoy this one.
Language (LOTS of F-bombs) and sexual situations may offend some readers.
I enjoyed the heroine with her flippant, sassy, quirkiness, her main flaw a klutz; while adding the laughter to the book some “accidents” seem a bit much for me. Please, don’t get me wrong my house is full of klutzes so I have seen with my own eyes the level of epic clumsiness that can truly occur! If, you ignore some of the methods of her klutziness, then it’s an adorable trait too!
The main man brings suit wearing to a level of must have hotness 😉 that we all crave! I love his dedication to his job, and his ability to try-so-hard not to love or like his temp assistance. The development of their attraction is natural, it is not rushed and that makes this novel a bit more realistic. I did enjoy this book overall and will recommend to others for a light feel good book. Oh, and the last scene is down-right hilarious.
Axel appears to be a serious no nonsense boss but even he can’t help but be amused at her antics. Although she may not be the most dedicated worker she is certainly entertaining and she allows him to show his humorous side. All good things must end or do they have to?
This book is hilarious and will have you laughing out loud. Violet is over the top but that just makes her more fun especially when she comes up against her stern boss. The next book in this series can’t come soon enough.
Vi is a walking talking disaster but you can't help but love her. Things happen to her in this book that has happened to all of us but for her it isn't a one time thing. The thing I loved about her is she owned it. Whether it was talking to Axel or an ER doctor, she just accepted this part of her.
Axel started out being this pretty cookie cutter cut throat CEO, but the more he hung out with Vi you got to see another side to him. He never made her feel bad and he started anticipating things to go wrong and helped her.
These two were fun to read about. I'm really glad I took a chance on this new to me author and gave this book a try.
I will say, at first, I was a little apprehensive. The quintessential rich business man and the secretary trope almost made me roll my eyes. Almost. This is most certainly not the cliche' that I usually come across.
Axel isn't the usual closed-off, rich, playboy you find in books. He ends up being a very laid back successful businessman. He is sweet when it's warranted. He is closed off in the right places. He is all around a character that I loved.
Vi is the perfect match for Axel. She is funny and quirky. And yes, a klutz. An extreme klutz. Her klutiness is what makes her such a wonderful character.
I really enjoyed this book. From the warm and fuzzies, to the laughs, to the happily ever after. This story kept me entertained from start to finish.

So Violet is a klutzy girl.. everything she tries to do goes wrong in one way or another so when she goes from LA to New York to work for a few weeks her unlucky streak continues starting off with her closing her skirt in a door ripping it off upfront of her new boss!
Axel is the bossy boss who shows Violet no mercy.. that is until she injuries herself while out one night.
Complete opposites do attract though right?
Would recommend this book to others and look forward to reading more by this author!

Problem was, the heroine's annoying. Don't get me wrong, I chuckled a few times, and the writing made me want to keep reading, but it just fell flat for me... Much like the klutzy main character kept doing.
And the ending? I won't give it away, but there was so much more you needed these characters to do to at least suspect they get their hea. Shame.
I would read this author again, and recommend this book to anyone who enjoys light beach reads with a dash of humour.
3.5 stars.

I really loved Violet she is absolutely and amazing and makes this book addictive.
This book made me laugh out loud, but it also made me cry.
This to me makes Abigail Davies a really good author for being able to get me so engrossed in the characters that it makes me emotional.
I have already purchased the next book and can't wait to read it.
