About the Author
Wendy Bowen was the ultimate Type A, control-freak, perfectionist, workaholic, and over-achiever until God entered the picture. Since then, she abandoned her Type A ways and exchanged them for God’s purpose for her life. Now, she lives to help people find their God-given purpose so that they, too, can partake of all that God has in store for them.

I am a former Type A who is married to a Type A, so I enjoyed reading the book and remembering the "former" me and kept nodding to myself and thinking, "I wish I could get my husband to read this." Regardless of being a Type A, it is worth the read just to hear the author's interesting life story.
With unflinching candor and a great sense of humor, Wendy Bowen uses excerpts from her own spiritual journey to guide the reader toward his own path to fulfillment by serving God.
Confessions of A Recovering Type A is the first spiritual guidebook that ever clicked with me. I wholly attribute this to Ms. Bowen's unique gift for writing that enables her communicate in a way that even die-hard Type As like me can relate to.
A life-changing book that everyone should read.

Your book provided and easy to use, discrete and not obtrusive way to get some needed assistance. The evaluation of the severity of type A behavior section near the front of the book was very useful and pointed out "obvious behaviors" that I engage in almost every day, but was not consciously aware of.
My continuance of efforts to change "old habits," type A habits, have been assisted by your wonderful work. Thank you.
