There is a reason that Congress Reconsidered is in double digit editions. This in a must have for the political scholar. I also recommend Congress and its Member and American Public Policy: Promise and Performance.

This book provides complex analysis of congressional behavior. It is only for those who are extremely interested in understanding and researching the United States Congress (i.e., it is an academic's book)

This book, now in its 10th edition, is ever evolving. I can imagine eventually owning all ten editions. A brilliant commentary for students and followers of politics.

This series continues to its 10th edition. It is interesting and, for me, the backbone to my graduate studies. It is a very good book and I highly recommend it to students and casual readers that want some real meat to their political analysis.

This book was for a Christmas gift. It may have good information, but when I received it, I was shocked to see that it was a very small book for $57...looked like a rip-off college textbook where universities can take advantage of people. I wasn't impressed.

I read this book for a grad class and was pleased at how the text looked at the institution of Congress from a multiplicity of perspectives. The "freshness" of this text is its best selling point. The research and anecdotes are from 3-5 years ago, not 30 to 50. While not necessarily for the armchair political science aficionado, it is a good text for thinkers who want to know how Congress really does work.

Great value for the price. The book arrived promptly, and it is in great shape. Very little wearing and markings in the book. I plan to buy from this again.
