Does anyone "like" the Cisco Connect Cloud new firmware with online account like I do or do most want to go back to non-cloud firmware?

This is a terrible "feature." I dislike the possibility that if cisco's frontend gets hacked, they have a front door into my own network. I don't trust anyone with my router's password (or network for that matter) but myself. Seems like lots of people dislike this feature altogether. Check out:

Really, just go read Cisco's own forum.

No. I'm curious why you like it so much - can you elaborate on what you perceive as its advantage? The last thing I want is for my router to be easily accessible from outside my LAN.

Linksys Smart Wifi allows you to access your home network from anywhere, at any time, but you may roll the router's firmware to the Classic web interface. Here's how to do that: http://kb.linksys.com/Linksys/GetArticle.aspx?docid=227c9e6286124532ac52a643ca4122a5_Rolling_back_the_Cisco_Connect_Cloud_firmware_of_Linksys_Sma.xml&pid=80&converted=0
