About the Author
JOEL S. GOLDSMITH (1892-1964), a monumental teacher of practical mysticism, devoted most of his life to the discovery and teaching of spiritual principles which he founded and called The Infinite Way. After the publication of his seminal book, The Infinite Way, in 1947, Joel traveled throughout the world as a teacher and a healer. Although Goldsmith's message was neither organized nor advertised, students of The Infinite Way increased in numbers. Today, a worldwide student body exists which continues to practice and preserve his work. More than thirty books have been compiled from his tape-recorded lectures and classwork including "The InfiniteWay," "Practicing the Presence" and "The Art of Meditation." --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

His WAY is not a fast and easy WAY that uses mental gymnastics to make one "feel good'.
His WAY does not provide any easy fixes; instead, Joel S. Goldsmith offers the student the challenge to decide whether to pursue a Spiritually Enriching Life... or not. It is up to the student to make the effort and sacrifice to honestly search, within oneself, the hidden mysteries of life and living. This action involves facing the inner self and the stories one invents to cover up and avoid personal responsibility.
To discern the Spiritual world around you is the goal and to do this one must, see with new eyes.
Joel S Goldsmith was a spiritual mystic with over thirty-five years of teaching and healing and has had dozens of books written about his work garnered from the LETTERS (lessons) sent to his many students over those many years. He draws heavily from the New Testament Gospels and the Teachings of The Christ.
I would suggest that before reading this or any one of the many Goldsmith books, the student begin with THE INFINITE WAY.
This is the first or primer, so to speak, for all the teachings that follow.
So the Path is not for the faint of heart, seeking material good, but for those who have not choice, because they have been chosen.
