Format: MP3 Music
Musicians in this group are very fine players, so I was disappointed by their lack of blend and they operate almost as 4 soloists who happen to be playing four intertwining parts. I just do not hear the cohesiveness one would expect of a professional chamber group and it does not sound like these guys perform together on a regular basis. The music isn't very engaging as well, here is hoping to better works on future recordings.

Although I don't care for some of the selections I do find the group quite fantastic. The pieces I don't care for will probably grow on me. I've never had so much fun with The Harmonious Blacksmith and some others.
