✍🏼If you need a dynamic, informative, inspiring guide to authoring and blogging, you definitely should read this book.
✍🏼Genre: A guide to authoring and blogging in the social media age
Release date: 2021
✍🏼The Plot: The last time I was so obsessed with reading the book about writing was reading “On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft” by Stephen King. But, truth to be told, Lee Hall managed to stand head and shoulders above my previous read related to writing. This book is not just an ordinary guide to authoring. “Consistent Creative Content” is a multilayered manual for people who can’t imagine their life without writing. The author doesn’t teach you how to write; he gives you brilliant tips on keeping afloat and not giving up in this hectic, competitive bookish world. Revealing his personal writing experience, the writer leaves stones (like in “Hänsel und Gretel” by The Brothers Grimm) to help all those who lost their way on a writing path. Besides the authoring and blogging aspects, there are a lot of brilliant, clever marketing recommendations. This book is informative, inspiring, and helpful for all the people who love writing and decide to tie their fate with this craft.
✍🏼The Writing Style: Although this book is a guide, the author created it as an enjoyable, juicy, wise, and exciting read. I adored that every chapter includes magnificent quotes by famous journalists, bloggers, and indie authors I was lucky to read. I intentionally didn’t read it in one sitting. I wanted to process all these smart and wise tips and write them out for myself. The author knows how difficult it is for an indie author to make a book visible to readers. Lee Hall succeeded in drawing a vivid map for those who already walk along the writing path and those who have just stepped on this twisty road.
❤️🔥The fave quote: “The hardest thing about being an indie author is letting the world know your book exists...”
“The best thing is convincing the world one person at a time this is your dream.”
✍🏼Would I read other books by this author: Definitely, yes!
🔥My humble rating is: 5/5

Though I somehow managed to stumble across a number of the tips included in the book on my own, it was nice to have the validation that if I continue to work at it, I’ll eventually find some more success. Knowing that someone else has gone through the same process and was able to make it work is encouraging – and something to look forward to. This was well worth taking the time to read.
I am a very introverted person and I often doubt my ability to engage with people on social media. It just doesn’t come naturally to me. When I think of something I could post, I usually stop myself because I assume no one will care. When I do post and I am largely ignored, it solidifies that opinion and I then post less. I found Lee’s book to be so inspiring that even an insecure introvert like me now feels motivated to connect with people online!
CCC is the sort of book that I will refer to many times for years to come. It’s a great reference! I can also attest to the fact that Lee’s suggestions work. How do I know this? Because I don’t know Lee personally, but I discovered him on Twitter. He is kind, funny, and encouraging. I like Lee even though I don’t know him, and I think that’s a lot of what he’s trying to get across in CCC. Don’t try to sell your book, try to sell yourself. If people like you and believe in you, the sales will come. That’s a great takeaway from this book!
I also appreciated that he touched on the importance of mental health and shared practical tips on dealing with criticism and toxicity.
Lastly, I found his social media, marketing, and selling tips to be valuable for both beginning and experienced writers.

Whilst the majority of what the book is expressing is common sense, as they say, that is not so common.
The strategy and tips for improving your profile within the field of being an independent author is transferable to writers in many fields so I will be using what I have read to get myself out there.
Overall a great read and is worth more than the cover price (a bargain) as it will be seen as a reference for new and old authors alike
I haven't read a novel by Lee Hall (yet!) but the man knows, what he writes about.
I can recommend the book for upcoming and aspiring writers and bloggers who plan to publish their work independently.
