Praise for Consoling Angel:
"Denise Alicea's short "Consoling Angel" is one of those quick, fresh reads that make you smile and squeal throughout the entire plot then leave you all giddy by the end. I strongly recommend this story for young adults who enjoy romance-based stories. The ending is wrapped well and gives the reader the satisfaction he or she will be craving for. I greatly enjoyed this story because of how the author distributed the passion and strength of love in such a short length of pages. I think of this novella as a dessert. "Consoling Angel" is a book that does not require much chewing. The conciseness and the speed of the romantic plot line make the story easy and sweet to read through. I personally liked it very much and would definitely read it again." Iris Park, All Book Reviews.
"More fable than mystery, readers will find here a charming story that is perfect for anyone going through loss. " Melissa Felton
"He is weaved into the story in such a way that it is not only believable, but works well for this plot and its characters. " Selena Robins
"An opportunity to read this cute and fresh short story in which we can "meet" James Dean in guest star. I'm pleased by the original plot which is cute thanks to Mira - the main character - and which is entertaining. The author puts some things of herself in it and it only creates more feelings that come through every descriptions and every words." - Freak-YA Tastic Book Reviews. "A refreshing blast of fresh air to see one young woman fall in love with one young man and make an homage to the past in doing so." - Camryn Rhys.
