Okay let’s get to the characters. Roderick Green or Roddy he is a producer at channel 25 for the last eight years. It is a fledgling channel and all new and inexperienced people are under him. He has a lot of pressures to make this channel work. He takes a lot of things on to himself. He needs the submission he seeks with Master Vegas. He has to learn to let go and just be for a while otherwise he would just break.
Master Vegas – Andrew is his real name. But he loves Roddy. He drops everything when he calls asking for a scene. He is a tough but fair dom who is falling hard for the sweet needy submissive.
I would describe Constant as a beautiful powerful read. I love when BDSM brings another layer and deeper connection to characters. Ms. Slayer makes me love her character and want much more of them. I also have read Permanent but you do not have to understand this story. I would suggest reading it anyways it is a wonderfully written story with unforgettable characters.
When you want some edge to you man love this is the book to pick up.
Five Shooting stars and Recommended Read
Andrew Vegas is more than a Dom, although he is very good at what he does. But he also works a day job in a community center and he loves his work with kids. Unfortunately a bad past meant that he had trouble thinking he could have a relationship with someone, although he wants one with Roddy. Unbeknown to him, Roddy wants the same thing.
But when Vegas added sex to their play, things did change between them. After seeing each other for two years, how could it not?
A new power swept over him. He wasn't there simply to bring his sub pleasure. He was there to take the same pleasure. They were a pair. They hadn't come out and admitted they belonged together, but they did.
There was something very realistic about the hesitancy that both men felt about taking things further. Roddy was in a high powered job, Andrew not so much. Andrew didn't think he had anything worth giving Roddy outside of the club, but he was essentially a good man. I liked that in this story the Dom of the pair was the one without much money and a job that was more community than power orientated. I also liked how Eric came to Roddy's rescue in relation to his job, although I definitely did not like Susan. Her type give women a bad name.
This is the first time I have read anything by Megan Slayer, but it won't be the last. I did think the book could have been longer, and I appreciated the epilogue. But I would have liked to have seen more interaction between the two men - hearing that they had played together for two years put things in perspective, but I am one who likes to see the feelings develop over time. Not a complaint though. The book was well-written, the story line was awesome and sweet, and yep, I just loved Vegas. I'm off to find some more of Megan's books.
Roddy is a TV producer and to ease his stresses at work he has been frequenting a BDSM club called Fetish. As a submissive he finds his heaven with his assigned Dom, Master Vegas. In the two years they have been acting out scenes together there has never been any sex, that is, until on that night when Master Vegas adds it to the shock of Roddy. He has secretly been crushing on his Dom and wanting more from their relationship, one he wants to move to a fully-fledged romance partnership outside of the club. Little does he realise that has been Andrew’s (Master Vegas’) dream too.
I really liked the storyline and although the romance aspect was a little rushed, especially as it took two years to build up to, I still enjoyed seeing how the pairing moved from professional to personal. There was also lots of love and passion thrown in to the story to give the reader an all engrossing short sexy read.
