This short story was first published in the Vampires of the Caribbean anthology. I look forward to reading the next book in the Hellish series.
This book has erotic moments, romantic whispers, deadly danger, supernatural battles....and it is only FOUR chapters long. By the end, I think my heart rate was racing, and I was wiping some moisture from my eyes. Come on, that's a lot of action and emotion for four chapters! The next book in the series is coming July 31 and I cannot wait.
Warning: This book ends in a cliffhanger. You have been warned.
For what this is, it is awesome! I take this short story as a start to a wonderful start to an ongoing suspense with a romantic part to it. I do love everything that is Cin and Johnathan. I promise you will understand when you read. I surely enjoyed not only that, but the conflict at the end. I am left wondering about that and of course the mystery they are still left to solve.
Again, this story is very short so there isn't too much development in regard to the world the author created, nor the characters as we are only given so much information. I do hope this will be remedied as the series progresses. However, even with that said this book kept me entertained and wanting more.
I liked the main characters, I'm not particularly in love with them but they are nice enough to make me care for them. There are some great twists that keep me intrigued and, even though I didn't like the ending that much, I'm so interested on see what the events might mean for their relationship. I'm surely planning on keep reading the next instalments on the series.
Man meets vampire, it's not the first time, but only one of them knows this.
It's been six years ongoing, this time might be different.
One simple act may have changed everything.
The twists and turns in this tale makes me desperate for the next one.
