Good luck opening these once they're closed. Terrible product, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I thought they'd be perfect for my homemade makeup, but once I close the lids, it is impossible to open because of how shallow they are. Even closing them a tiny bit is too much.

Leaks, Difficult to get Lids Off

I switched to the screw top tins because these are a total pain! It's like the lid creates a vacuum when you close it so trying to pry the lid off is frustrating and more difficult than it should be. And if you put anything like lotion in there it will leak & make the exterior of the tin slippery, and good luck ever getting the lid off after that.

I bought this product for scent work with my poodle puppy, we are training him to become a diabetic alert dog. The tins are a little bigger than what I needed but that is on me not the manufacturer for not knowing what size metal tins would work best for what I needed to do with them. I really love that the loss screw on and off. I ordered pop on and off lid tins and those were a disaster. But being able to screw on and off the lids makes training so much simpler and the material is exactly what I expected. I definitely would suggest this product to anyone who needs metal tins for any reasoning, if you are purchasing for scent training work then I'd suggest getting a size or two smaller.

IF I were to mark this down it would be that the tops are a bit tricky to remove but I don't see how that could be improved. It is a trade-off between function and convenience. Any easier and the lids might come off unexpectedly. Their small size also contributes to the difficulty, but if this is the size one needs, that's the way it's gotta be! If one gets used to them and carefully holds and twists top and bottom the tops do come off with little effort -- one needs to do it with finesse and and not brute strength.

They would be perfect, however they were shipped in a box NOT FOR SHIPPING ANYTHING, TO THIN, BOX NOT FOR THE TINS. I really do like the tins I needed more tried to order and I was unable to see why and what, the complete transaction, money, no way to contact seller.on the one...I just wanted what I paid for. Stated that, then auto system, goes to return why not salvage what we can? Guessing it's time..... Thank you Thank you Bubble bags Heavy/ thick will protect them, I know I got my 2oz in one, it had 2 missing from that one, it's been bad recently, shipping not fit for no one. not you guys, I took pictures the box was crushed, Ill wait until this is straightened out but I'll order more. It is difficult to visual the size of these tin container online. For me, these were a bit small. But they are perfectly usable and strong.
I'm using mine to soak cotton pads in Essential Oil Blend/Recipes for various ailments.
Next time, I will be getting slightly larger ones. Hopefully that will give more space to take the lids off.
