No lag to speak of, but I just use this to play Untitled Goose Game and Spyro, not high-stakes online stuff so do with that as you will. As said before, you might have to re-pair it if your computer turns off or restarts, but mine hasn’t done that so far, YMMV.

I bought this adapter due to my PlayStation 3 controller breaking after years of use. I struggle to find a third party controller that seemed comfortable and decent but in all honestly those are just awful; those controller either break or just do not work well. After finding this product I decided to give it a buy, after all I already own controllers from other consoles that I like and work great. Once it Arrived I tried with my PS4 controller and was immediately relived that I don't have to look for awkward extra controllers that I won't ever be needing. This Adapter works fine wired or wireless, which is good because it will charge your controllers when wired while doing it quickly; I notice no input lag from the device while playing PS3 or Nintendo Switch. I fully recommend it if you are looking for a way to play your PlayStation 3 without awkward third party controllers or just trying to play your Nintendo Switch without spending too much money on a cheap controller or Pro Controller.

Pretty decent but so far I've only gotten it to work with steam since they are the only ones with controller support. There is a work around to get it working with Epic games but that's it. You also have to unplug it and replug everytime you turn your computer off if you want it to pair again. All in all works as advertised but only through steam.

Also it was left unplugged and in my drawer and I go to plug it in and bam its dead, tried my laptop bam nothing turned it on. I didn't even abuse it and usually im pretty abusive with my gaming equipment, so like that made it even worse. Didn't even get the enjoyment of destroying it.

I ordered this as a tech enthusiast and I am actually really surprised at how good and powerful this little adaptor is.
I own a switch, PS4 and PC where I shuffle throughout the day. I use the same PS4 controller for both the PC and PS4 and is a major pain to be constantly changing my pairing settings so my main idea with this was to pair it once and just make it plug and play, and god is it convenient, now I just need to worry that is charged, and not even, as the adaptor comes with a USB entry where it can charge as you play.
This also allows for controllers to be used and I honestly do not know how I have not purchased this before for my switch, the controller change is just day and night, don't get me wrong the switch controllers are okay, but god are they tiny, and for prolonged use the PS4 is just much better.
Now I always carry it because of how convenient and useful it is.
Build quality is more than okay and I am in love with it.
Honestly, if you own more than one console, this should be a must have.

I've been meaning to get new joy cons for my switch but haven't seen a good sale for awhile. Came across this and it looked like a cheap alternative because I have controllers for PS4. Very simple device and the instructions are short and simple, it includes a table of compatible controllers.

I went over to families house and took it with me. It became very useful because we had extra people over and not enough joycons. Surprisingly very simple to use, plug it into the dock, attach cable and controller then the controller is (linked/synced) just like joy cons.

Even after turning off the switch, you won't have to sync controller again unless you sync it back to PS4 etc.

A lot of people have multiple consoles so this little device is like carrying an extra controller around.

If you prefer your Sony or Xbox controllers you can now use them for switch.
