Bought this to replace a set of rechargeables that had finally worn out after about 5 years and wouldn't take a charge. They work great for our xbox one controllers. Can't really speak to the battery life yet. As far as value for the money, these will pay for themselves in disposable batteries within the first year for sure, and I would hope they last far longer than that.
My only complaint with this unit is that it does not come with a block to plug in the charger cord. Luckily I had a few sitting around and found one that works to fast charge. Only takes a couple hours. If you don't have an extra block, you'll need to buy one.

I bought this for my Xbox One Elite and my standard Xbox One controllers. Install took only a few minutes to swap the batteries with the battery packs. Set controller on the charge base and plug in USB. I don't know how much power the batteries had but they charged full very fast. I have been using the Xbox Elite controller now for 3 days and have not had to recharge yet! (I am unsure how many hours but I would guess at least 10 or 12hrs so far.)I am very pleased with this product!
