I REALLY like this charging station. I looked at a bunch of them before choosing this one. I can put two controllers on it. It comes with two rechargeable batteries to replace your battery packs. It's conveniently sized so it fits on our entertainment center, since the consoles take up all the space -_- I like how the chargers are in the bottom area because other stations have it so they sit horizontally and I'd be really worried something would crack or break off. With this one you just set them on top and they charge. The light in the front is lit while they're charging. I find it's best to let the charge run out then charge it. It prolongs the battery that way.

I can't tell you how long the charge last, though I think it's in the product description. I mean I didn't time it and you know you're not paying attention to anything when you're playing. It just says controller it low, you SAVE your game and then set it on the charge :) I highly recommend this.

My problem with these charging blocks is that I frequently have to fuss with seating the controllers so that the charging lights turn on. I can't say what the trick is because each time the controller seems seated properly, but sometimes it doesn't work. Also, these blocks connect to each other with USB plugs and one block seems to have a faulty connection. Pushing that block (on the end) in against the other blocks seems to fix that one block's charging issues for a while.

Overall, I like the physical design of the blocks. If I wasn't expecting my controllers to charge, than the blocks would make a nice holder for keeping the controllers tidy on my entertainment center.

Too difficult

Compared to the Xbox 360 charger- this one is harder to use. The controller has to be set in the exact position on the prongs or it won’t charge.
Takes a bit of using it to get it right. Once the controller is on correctly the unit lights up.
Other than that it is a good charger.
Update April 24th
My son started asking me for batteries again because at 9 years old he still can’t get the charger in the correct position. I tried only to find out that one of the chargers does not work anymore. So less than 4 months broken.

Got 2 of these online for 4 on one plug, works great and gives a little organization to the clutter. My only complaint is the LEDs are pretty bright. Less annoying than my old ps3 charger (red and green spotlights), but even after they stop blinking(charging), the steady on is pretty eye grabbing. Add to that the 4 deep arrangement has to sit sideways in its spot to fit, one side is aimed directly at the audience.

Other than that hackable issue these work great

This is my 3rd Nyko charger, so I've been a fan of your product for a while now and despite my issues with this one, will continue to buy your product. While this product does what it says it will do, charge your xbox controllers, the design of this one just didn't seem well thought out. I will preface this with, I take care of my products and only replace them when the rechargeable batteries no longer hold a charge.

The primary challenge is the micro-usb connector. You have to be very careful connecting multiple charging blocks together to avoid bending the connectors. Nifty idea to create a system where you could add multiple blocks together vs. having a static station that only charges 2 controllers, but connecting them is not easy. Also, the location of the connector is horrible. I am now on my 3rd micro-usb cord because the prong bends and no longer functions. I thought the first time was a fluke and that the cord that shipped with the charger was faulty. The 2nd time was less then 3 weeks later with a brand new cord, for the same reason. It would appear that due to the location of plug, the cord has no support and over time, the subtle movement that comes with adding/removing the controllers, in combination with the cord just hanging there, makes it susecptible to bending. I have propped up the charging cord to give it more support and this seems to help. Time will tell.
Design wise, the location, size and color of your charging lights is just plain bad. My previous chargers had little red/green LED lights that let you know the charging status and were subtle. This one can light up the room to let you know your controllers are charging and that is annoying. However, black electrical tape does the trick.

Batteries seem to last long during gameplay ill get about 8 hrs of straight gameplay the design is great and the adaptation to bring 2 more decks is great the batteries were not fully charged so i had to charge them before use. The black controller is the xbox one 3rd gen (xbox one s) and the red splatter controller is a 2nd gen controller

It’s a money saver! I saved hundreds of dollars on batteries for 3 in a half years. They’re long lasting and the charging station has a nice, sleek design. But overall I only wished they had an off switch if the batteries are fully charged. But overall it’s a great product and a great buy.

Perfect! The dongles install easily, then you can practically "drop the controller" onto the charger and it connects & charges! Rough-housing kids would possibly knock the controller off but that's not an issue in my adult household.
WAY easier than trying to line up the micro USB connector to the typical charger racks I've had before. :-)

Simplemente genial, la opción de quitar o agregar bloques para tus controles es lo mejor que hay. Por el momento solo tengo un control y por lo tanto solo uso uno de los dos bloques, pero compre el paquete doble para cuando tenga otro, y por el precio ($499) era mejor el paquete dúo. Estéticamente, tanto la base como los accesorios se ven muy bien, las baterías son de 1200 mAh, en número me parecía algo bajo pero no le di importancia ya que no es común que haga maratones con juegos, aun así creo que sin problemas puedes jugar unas siete horas seguidas y la batería soportará; aun así para no tener problemas es mejor dejar el control en la base cuando no lo usas, así aseguras la carga.
En mi caso como no uso el control por largos periodos solamente lo cargo por las noches, dos horas y con eso le basta para cargar aproximadamente del cincuenta por ciento (no sabría decir cuanto tarda en cargar desde el cero por ciento).
Algo que no me gusta es que el cargador siempre esté funcionando mientras está conectado; para evitar esto conecté el cargador a un contacto inteligente y solo funciona dos horas por la madrugada así ni siquiera tengo que preocuparme por cargar el control, solo lo dejo en su base siempre.
Algo que vi que la gente se quejaba era la luz que emite, a mi parecer no es molesto, pero si lo tienes bajo la televisión como yo, puede distraerte ese parpadeo de carga pero no creo que sea molesto o demasiado brillante.
Pero como lo dije al inicio, la mejor opción de cargadores para controles, ninguna opción qué se ve actualmente se iguala, el equilibrio entre calidad, precio y estética es lo mejor que se puede conseguir.

Al principio tenía un poco de miedo por los comentarios de otros usuarios quejándose de las luces laterales, las cuales brillaban bastante, sim embargo ese no fue mi problema ya que el cargador no emite tanta luz, respecto a la carga; 3100 mAh esta excelente para una buena sesión de juego.

Estoy muy satisfecho con este cargador ya que los controles, tanto los normales como los elite, se acoplan a la perfección y a la primera no como los de energizer que tenía que estar buscando la forma de que encajaran para poderse recargar.
