A: No, this controller not supports online games.

Q: 3. Why my controller inputting both joystick and keyboard buttons?
A: What emulator are you using? Difficulty on mapping the buttons depends on the emulator. We recommend using SNES9X on PC, OpenEmu on Mac, Retropie on Respberry Pi.

Q: 4. After running a configuration through retroarch,when i connect the controller to my retropie 2,the pi doesn't detect it.what's wrong?
A: You can try powering down and booting back up with the controllers connected. or rebuild retropie.

Q: 5. Can you configure the buttons to specific keys? I want to program buttons for shortcut commands like CTRL/Z, for example.
A: This can be accomplished with 3rd party software that maps joystick buttons to keyboard controls such as Xpadder, AutoHotKey, or EventGhost.

Q: 6. Compatible with SNES?
A: Sure, but please do not confuse the versions, this is for the old snes, not for the Super NES Classic Edition (which also known as Classic Mini, SNES Classic Mini), they have different interfaces.

Tips:

1. Plug in the controller first before open the emulator or power on the raspberry pi, so your device could detect the controller easily.

2. SNES9X is perfect emulator for Windows PC.

3. RESET the controller before the first use.

I tried a iNNEXT controller a few years ago when I was looking for something cheap. I was overall impressed with the build quality but it was plagued by a fatal flaw, it was way too easy to press diagonal up and down on the d-pad. This controller solves that issue and is of such high quality that I need to compare it to Nintendo's official SNES pads for the SNES classic to find fault with it.

Compared to the official new pads the case is cheaper and lacks texture. The face buttons are near identical, the start and select buttons are different but don't feel better or worse, the shoulder buttons require more force to press but feel great otherwise.

If you want a budget SNES controller for Emulation or a Retro Pi build I can't imagine a better value.

For the price, these are fantastic, however I would pay more for better quality.

What I mean is that they work fine. They are original SNES controller in size, shape, and mostly feel. My wife loves playing the classic game she grew up on, but always commented that playing with a Xbox controller felt weird, so I got these for her.

She says they are much more comfortable for her, and she really likes them. I gave one a spin to put it through it's paces. I didn't notice any issues with the D-Pad, with pressing, say Up, and having it register as Up & Left, or anything. It seems to be accurate and I didn't have any problems using it. The buttons also work fine, however they feel like you're pressing down on cheap plastic buttons, and don't have the same solid feel that the original SNES controllers had. I would happily pay $10 - $20 more for controllers that feels exactly like the originals in build quality.

In conclusion: For the price, these are a fantastic deal as they work just fine, however they could be better.

I was contacted by customer service about my review of this controller. I was offered to try their updated version, which I accepted.
The d-pad has been greatly improved. It does not feel cheap at all! The haptic feedback is quick and satisfying. I have given this product 5 stars because it's a great value, and iNNext has great customer support!
I got these to play on a Raspberry Pi. They connect easily and work, as you would expect. The weight and feel of the controllers are almost exactly like the original SNES controllers. Almost..

One issue:
The d-pad is extra cheap, and it lets you know that right away. Sometimes I have to press really hard just to register a response in-game. It feels very sloppy and, with a lack of a better word, cheap!

good and easy to tweak

I've bought 3 packs of these (2 packs for other people) and they work well. For playing final fantasy 6 for blitz accuracy I had to do the tape fix, as seen in picture. Otherwise when pushing up sometimes it would go up/left. Putting those thin pieces of slightly thick tape "the tape fix" seems to make enough of a fix to keep the unintentional diagonals. I went with thin strips, if you make thicker strips of tape it makes it so you have to push harder to register, but thin is just enough to prevent unintentional diagonals. Overall these are solid construction, and the dpad doesn't float around it is really nicely fitting.

It looks like a snes controller, doesn't feel like one though. They are cheap feeling and delayed in the button pushes. But heck works great with the raspberry pi and lets me play mario like I use to.

After writing my review I was contacted by the company and they did provide they new redesigned controller. It is a nicer controller with less click clack sounds, feels better, and is sturdy. Unfortunately they did only send me one not 2 like I originally bought, but hey not mad at them for that they did try to correct their poor product and for that I appreciate their customer service it is very well received. However, the product still has problems. Even after reprogramming it several times on the raspberry pi it still operate poorly. Such as it mixes up the ABX&Y buttons with the function they are suppose to do. And for that it makes games unplayable so I will not be using the new controller. Once again great customer service but not the best product.
