I was riveted by this incredible book from the very first page until the last. It took me months to read its nearly 600 pages, but I was fascinated through the entire length. The book is a walk through history wherein Reed fully explains the racist, supremacist, dark, and evil agenda of Zionism. The force of Zionism is even more powerful now than it was in 1956 when Reed wrote the book. So the book is not merely interesting, but very relevant to the present geopolitical scene.

Douglas Reed ! One of the most important writers and historians of the 20 century.I came across a paragraph of one of his books and knew immediately that I will read all his books. The truth indeed sets you free and Reed's books are jam packed with truth. For those trying to make sense of the times we live in ,one of the ways is to read all his books in chronological order, and what a journey that is going to be. I wish I could do it again for the first time. In times when we are bombarded with false idols and I am in the opinion that we shouldn't be in awe with a person Douglas Reed is a fellow human being totally deserving of our admiration. If we didn't live in a world in which everything is inverted, and we do, Controversy of Zion would be mandatory reading at school together with the rest of Reed's book. And he had great sense of humor .This book is an extraordinary effort by one person against all obsticles to make sense of life as we know it and a culmination of life's work.

Douglas Reed examines the innermost doctrines and psychopathic characteristics of the "Laws" and rules of the Torah. He explains with examples throughout history what this has led to. It is most disturbing, very fascinating, and an absolute requirement for understanding how it is possible that a cult could maneuver itself on a course of total self-destruction, destroying everything around it during this self destruction. The Zionist false flag attack on the US on 9-11 becomes more easily understood after reading this book. And remember Douglas Reed wrote this just after WWII. Unfortunately the satanic powers of the moment do not tolerate any threat to their lies. What Douglas Reed has written here is undoubtedly, just like all of his works, a fruit of impeccable integrity. You may or may not like his view, but the man is a honest professional.

For me it has been a great help to orient my opinions, torn between my sincere friendship for my jewish friends and my sincere appreciation of the jewish contribution to science and arts and the appalling crimes of zionist conspirators and the state of Israel.

It has also very far reaching implications for all adherents of a religion based on the bible - christian, islam, judaic. Compare the first chapters of this book with the Book of Enoch and the Apocryphon of John - free downloadable "Nag Hammadi library" at [...], p.65 to 74. It will be a very shocking discovery for most people, ... very shocking.

I hope that I will not be thrown in prison or worse .. delivered to the acrid flames for eternity for this honest view.

If you would like to have an understanding of the situation America is in, then you should read this Opus of Mr Reed. We wave our flag. We go to the polls. And nothing changes. No, let me be precise. This is a fascinating insight into a parallel history of the world, written by a very successful journalist of the London Times. Douglas Reed, who couldn't find work for any newspaper after the publication of Far and Wide in 1951. Reed an very open minded journalist and truth seeker had stumbled upon the mystery of never ending conflict and took it upon himself to write a book of world history from the wars of Persia and Babylonia to the Suez crisis. He may only have written up to the halfway point of the 20th century but after reading this you have the key to the Vietnam and Korean wars, the end of the USSR, the never ending war on terror and the current wars in Syria and Ukraine.

In the opening chapters Reed links the death of Belshazzar (as prophesied by the prophet Daniel) and the massacre of the Romanovs in the basement of the Ipatiev House in Ekaterinburg. Having access to the Internet, something Douglas Reed never had, you can fact check most of the book and you will find nothing there that is incorrect. There are a couple of claims by Reed for which I have not found any source and many some commenters can help me. He says that Judas was canonised in the Soviet Union and that the Book of Deuteronomy was doctored by adding words that Moses never pronounced.

No book covering such a vast subject can ever claim to be complete and I encourage people to read the fascinating 'The Mystical Body of Christ and the Reorganization of Society' by the Reverend Denis Fahey. Denis Fahey fills in many of the gaps where Reed stumbles, especially where it concerns banks. Fahey explains for example that when William and Mary came over from Holland in 1688, he bought with him the Amsterdam bankers that in 1694 established the Bank of England in the city. This is important to understand how the tandem of Anglo-Saxon Protestantism and messianic Judaism work together even today to destabilise the world.

The Controversy of Zion accurately describes the paradox of the same group of people establishing the communist international and the racially pure state at exactly the same time. The Bolshevik Revolution and the Balfour Declaration took place in the same week and no one noticed that the same people were behind both. Reed accurately shows how the mass of people of Jewish origin are oblivious to these forces and are driven to support the Zionist world view out of fear of antisemitism. They don't understand that antisemitism is backlash against Zionist messianic activities. In other words, the Zionists are using the mass of Jews as human shields.

Chapter 10 - The Man from Galilee, shows how Jesus Christ successfully verbally tackled the Jews and this is certainly what led to his crucifixion. If Reed was a Christian, it certainly isn't evident from the text and the book concentrates on a factual history. However, in the concluding chapter Reed says that in researching and writing this book, he has brushed an evil force that has continued throughout history in creating disorder. Modern day Zionists are the spiritual descendants of the Pharisees, who haven’t changed one iota of their world view in thousands of years.

I haven't finished this book yet and this is my first amazon review ever. When people speak of the most important books of all time this is never on the list but it is fundamental to that list! The madness of our world history over the last 2k years now makes sense and the continuing madness we see before us in the papers now I understand it all unfortunately. This book is easy to read because the author is a old school journalist - someone who has researched and used source material to back up what he has found and conveys that in a clear and easily assessable way. No wonder Douglas Reed's name and work before the internet came along vanished from public view. God Bless Mr Reed.

Interesting, But Author Has Missed The Point

A very detailed analysis of the history of the Jews, and one of the very few authors who recognises that while all Jews are Israelites, not all Israelites are Jews ! The impact of Jews, and also the Israelites, on world history is without parallel, but instead of concentrating on the negative influences as this author does, it would be better to take the long term view and to realise there is a higher power behind history and we are merely its pawns. Thus far in human history we have brought upon ourselves nothing but wars, hatred and misery through our dedication to the twin gods we worship of Personal Greed and Nationalism. The "conspiracy" that Reed blames on the Jews, that of communism and the destruction of nationalism, is more likely to bring peace on earth than all the attempts of "enlightened capitalism" and nationalism ever have. Add to this the concept that Zion could represent "one nation under God", and we have a vision of the future which is just what so many good hearted people have seen as a great hope for millennia. Our concept of the word "God" is evolving every day, as science makes discovery after discovery in a Universe that is "stranger than we could ever have conceived", as J. B. S. Haldane put it. If the Jews see Zion as "one world, one nation under God", with them as the main administrators, and it brings peace and tranquil living to our troubled world ..... then I am right there with them. It's got to be better than what we have now, which is the result of greed and nationalism. Bring it on !

Instead of information being more readily available via the internet we find ourselves being shepherded in one direction. I was interested in the writings of a much lauded reporter from between the two World Wars and in that respect I was not disappointed. Interesting read but the writing style made it hard to warm to. Contextually a page turner but the writing style was the opposite. If you want a balanced view of relatively recent history this is a must have. You will never understand Geopolitics without this angle.
