About the Author
A typical Piscean, award winning USA Today! bestselling author, Yvonne Lindsay, has always preferred the stories in her head to the real world. Which makes sense since she was born in Middle Earth. Married to her blind date sweetheart and with two adult children, she spends her days crafting the stories of her heart and in her spare time she can be found with her nose firmly in someone else’s book.

The OM is the necessary slime in the HP formula of angsty reading but there is no alpha demeaning bullying or simpering doormat h. I thought Amira's altruistic motives for her charity foundation was creditable and many HP stories feature this angle without issues from reviewers. It is the best H/h 'have-it-out' confession time I've read, not too dragged out, not ridiculously insignificant - just the right amount of grovel.
But no HEA or grovel is makes up for angst if reviewers are in a one star outraged state of mind so how it's up to you how you go with this story.
I mean the book is not only undeveloped, it is frustrating. The heroine is a person I would abhor in life - selfish and a lair. Even though the author tried to show reasons behind her behavior, I didn't buy it. What more, I wanted for the hero to take revenge on her. I wanted her crushed and destroyed.
And I definitely couldn't believe what I was reading when the hero apologized to her in the end. After everything she made him go through.
I know the saying about men always being at fault, but come on, this is ridiculous!
An awful book. A total waste of money and time.
