I bought this converter strictly to use with my SNES and N64. At first the screen was all blue and I thought that either the converter didn’t work or my Nintendo’s were broken. I guess the converter only needed time for it to convert the image 5 min for the N64 and about 30 min for SNES. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t get an image or audio right away. Picture comes out in 16:9 ratio considering that Nintendo’s were 4:3. The image doesn’t look stretched out. No lag in audio. My only gripe is the usb/power cable, not long enough.

Perfect for classic consoles (PS, SNES, Gamecube, ETC). I kept the resolution to 720p while playing my PS2, 1080p made it blurrier; casting a ghosting effect. Which is expected but at 720p, it is noticeably minimized.By Harvey on January 10, 2020

This is a simple upscaler which takes in a rca input from one side and outputs it to a 720p or a 1080p hdmi output.
Using it I've seen a clear difference and the quality is a lot better. A nice way to enjoy these old VHS that I have.
