I bought 10 of these in two packs of 5. Cheap, easy to use and handy. For example I needed to power, from a 12v battery, several strips of RGB LEDs and they can consume up to 2 amps per meter at 5 volts. So I gave each strip its own LM2596 supply, 5 in all. You twiddle the multi-turn potentiometer to set the output voltage and that's it. Much much cheaper than a single 5 amp supply.
