From Publishers Weekly
Private chef Walker, formerly a creative executive for Nickelodeon and the Cartoon Network, puts his talents to misogynistic ends in this off-putting cookbook, aimed at the young male demographic who made Tucker Max a bestseller and treat The Game as a guide to life. Dedicated to helping novices "cook an amazing meal and bring out their date's inner slut," Walker presents basic cooking and entertaining techniques doused in graphic anecdotes, casual insults, frat-boy innuendos and plenty of disdain for the opposite sex. Sound advice on presentation, kitchen essentials, wine pairings, and flirting is buried amidst Walker's steadfast commitment to the low road, including digressions on farting, recipe titles like "Tap That Ass-paragus Soup" and "Miso Horny Cod," and witless bon mots like, "boozing has always been as American as apple pie eaten off Betsy Ross' tits." Stale chauvinist humor aside, Walker's guide doesn't live up to its potential, content to circle the drain endlessly with a tiring litany of female stereotypes and recycled seduction strategies.

Even if you're happily in a relationship, I'd still recommend giving this book a try. If you're bored with eating the same boring meals every night, the recipes in here will add a little spice and flavor into your evening rotation. The recipes in here aren't just slapped together to pad the writing (which by the way is hilarious), they are carefully crafted dishes that are incredibly flavorful, unexpected, and decidedly mood altering.
So, before you go out and spend $30 on the latest boring recipe book by the Celebrity Chef of the week, give Cook to Bang a try. You won't regret it!
for a quite a little while. While I thought this was a book for moronic
guys, I read it in a single plane ride. The old man sitting next to me kept
looking over wondering what was so funny. Let's just say I appreciated the
humor more than he did, bible in his lap. The author Spencer Walker is like
the perverted male Carrie Bradshaw. Cook To Bang is funnier than it is
informative, and written with tongue firmly in cheek. Still ladies can learn
as much as guys in the art of foodie seduction. Yum!
