The recipes as promised were from a number of countries spanning from America to Italy to India. The recipes were well organised and categorized. The cookbook although a kindle version was complete in that it had a intro to each recipe, number of servings, prep time, a consistent list of ingredients and nutritional information. There were also pictures for each recipe. I like this because it gives a sense of what we were making before hand and also gives an indication of how the dish should be served.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a creme brulee recipe included. 5 mins prep time and prepared in your slow cooker - no flame torch required.
Recommended - BUY!
However, I couldn't have been more mistaken. I love this cookbook. It makes grand meals seem so easy. The ingredients are normal ingredients as well. This cookbook provides the opportunity to try something you might not ordinarily try. You'll find a lot of new favorites in this book!! If you enjoy using a slow cooker or trying new foods - you cannot pass this book up!!!
1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat, chopped
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup dry red wine
1 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (1oz) dry onion soup mix
Salt and pepper to taste
Um, no. This is in NO way related to Beef Bourguignon! And the rest of the 'internationally focused' recipes are equally poor.
Pass on this book. I downloaded it for free, and I got what I paid for.
