Product Description

The traditional gingerbread house sets the bar too low for most engineers. They tend to want to make something a bit more elaborate. Gingerbread Millennium Falcons (does the icing run in less than 12 parsecs). Gingerbread TIE fighters. Gingerbread AT-ATs tromping through an icing wonderland. To go along with this sort of creativity, you need something to give it a little character, literally. These officially-licensed Star Wars Gingerbread Cookie Cutters are sure to provide smiles for your holiday party or cookie swap. This set of 6 comes with with Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, Yoda, C-3PO, and a Stormtrooper. Cut the dough with one side of the cutter, and then flip it over to impress the design into the dough. With a low-rise gingerbread (most recipes for houses are), you'll get cute, clean designs that might not even call for icing. You decide. Note: These work best with dough that doesn't rise when baked. If you don't have a favorite recipe for that, follow these tips: Preheat the oven, Refrigerate the dough both before and after slicing the cookies, Use parchment paper or a silpat liner instead of greasing the cookie sheet.

5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!! PERFECT COOKIES!!
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 14, 2018
I ordered these to make Star Wars themed cookies for Valentines Day for my 4 yr old son. I read the good reviews on them and even though they were a bit more money than others, they're totally worth it. It comes with 6 different characters - Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, C-3PO, Boba Fett, Yoda and Chewbacca. Pieces fit in your hand and were easy to clean. You press first to cut the outside and then flip it around to press indents of image. Cookies maintained their shape and you could still see every detail of the character after baking.
For the dough, i used a sugar cookie recipe that has sour cream in it. The sour cream gives fluffier cookies than normal sugar cookie dough. Cookies tasted great and were soft but stayed together after baking for 8 minutes. Cooled them on parchment paper and frosted with homemade butter cream frosting. Package stated not to roll dough too flat. Mine turned out great. A bit tricky to add frosting, as I didnt want to cover up the face details. Most of them I outlined it in the frosting.
Great success and will definitely use them again soon!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Love Star Wars? Love cookies? You'll love them.

These were delightful! They made the most adorable gingerbread cookies. I like that the cookie cutters have a raised design on the back so you can flip it after you've cut out the form and stamp it with the details. There was no mess or dough getting stuck in hard to clean crevasses.
I would have given 5 stars except that there is one character/cookie cutter we didn't recognize and didn't use at all. The Yoda, Chewbaka, Darth Vadar, Imperial Soldier, and C3PO are wonderful, but mystery soldier was not. I'd have much rather seen them do an R2D2 cookie cutter (we actually ended up crafting our own.) That said, these are still great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love them!!

These are awesome! I had no issues with any dough getting stuck in them. Flour is your key to success. Dip both sides of the cookie cutter in flour before pressing it and dough won’t get stuck in them. The detailed side doesn’t need much pressure, it’s a very small short press (otherwise you will get dough stuck). It also helps if your cookie dough is cold (I made sugar cookies). My icing details needs some help, but the cookies prior to icing looking awesome. I wish there would have been a R2D2.
