As a Trader Joe’s employee, I always get Trader Joe’s themed gifts for Christmas and birthdays and what not. This past Christmas, my mother got me the Trader Joe’s “favorites” cookbook by Kelsey. I thought it was fantastic, especially the sections on dinners and cocktails. I loved the first book so much that I decided to pick up this book in addition to the one I got for Christmas because her recipes are so simple, yet so good and easy to follow. As a Trader Joe’s employee, I wholeheartedly endorse this book!!!

Loved the concept of the book & the recipes included, but they really need to look into changing printers… I see others had a similar issue. I have 4 pages of another book printed in the beginning, upside down. I bought 2 as gifts, one came fine, the other came like that. Pretty disappointing.

Just received my cookbook today. I do really like it, nice pictures with the recipe just how I like them, however, boy was I disappointed in how thin the book was for the price point. I guess it was a failure on my part that I did not look that the book was only about 100 pages. I've paid around this same price for a super nice thick hard cover cookbook with way more recipes. The price should be lower.

Although, I do love following the Instagram page and reading all her reviews . I was a little disappointed to see not a wide range or Vegetarian/ Vegan meals idea mainly for dinner :/ . Especially with Trader Joe’s appealing to such audience. I would love to hear other people’s ideas on what to substitute for chicken for a vegetarian person when it comes to these recipes. But overall all the cookbook seems well put together and I can’t wait to try some of the desserts & drinks.

If you like Trader Joe’s in this cookbook is for you. It has a lot of recipes that require unique Trader Joe’s ingredients. I love how easy and simple the recipes are and they turn out amazing. I’m giving this four stars because I would like to see more entree recipes because I do not drink. I did have to buy another cookbook for my mom so she wouldn’t steal mine! The entree recipes are unique to each other so there’s not really a theme, which I like.
