I am nonplussed at the reviews I've seen -- problems with book stickers or too many meat recipes? Really?! Wow. This book is a *jewel* and the recipes are fantastic and relatively easy.
The ingredients are easy to find, the recipes are creative, and you end up looking like a great chef without working all that hard.
Favorites are the languedoc beef stew, rigatoni with eggplant, sausage and zinfandel sauce, sauteed chicken with white wine, pea and tarragon sauce, tiger shrimp with pinot grigio, fresh tomato, and basil sauce, burgundy style pork, ALL the desserts ... YUM!
And they all have pictures! I really like recipe books with pictures of food. This is not a large book, but it is wonderful.
