I have to say the Al Gore, with all his well intentions, is still a crap politician who once claimed to had invented the Internet. So, I will have to put him aside to begin with. I love that this point of view was devoid of hyperbole, and grand claims. It deals with these issues rationally, and I love that. Non scientific people have to understand, that even settled science is only settled until it is not. Einstein vehemently was opposed to quantum mechanics until he was not. And being someone who loves physics, here is a joke for anyone who reads this: If it smells, it is probably chemistry. If it is wiggling, it is probably Biology. If it does not work, it is physics. ; )

This film is highly critical of Al Gore's message, contained in AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH, and the conclusions it contains, yet here we see an abundance of unsupported extrapolations, as well as a seemingly calculated discounting of climate change, and dismissal of popular measures to combat it. For me, it is a cause for concern that Denmark is heavily invested in North Sea oil production, which finances Danish socialism, and the many comforts it provides. Therefore, I suggest we consider the motivation behind the production of this film,.

This movie claims that man made climate change is real. They do not call it global warming now. Every time they had a global warming convention it was -40 deg. so they had to change the name. It tries to inject some common sense into the global warming hysterical propaganda, but only succeeds in creating a distraction. There is .04% CO2 in the atmosphere. Man made CO2 is .04% of that total .04%. That is not enough to make any difference. It does remind us that the "scientists" (read government propagandists) told us in the 1970s that we were headed for another ice age. They also had many expensive and very stupid solutions that were proposed to save us from the climate, when we really need to be saved from the government solutions.

Common sense! Actual things we can do to reduce climate change rather than useless rhetoric.

Definitely a much more sane approach to viewing climate change and ways to deal with it. A great reminder that any scientific theory and its assessment should always welcome scrutiny to bring about the best solutions in dealing with the world's challenges. Scaremongering to implement policies with dire economic consequences is irresponsible and actually anti-science.

Great moving touching on some important pieces to remember. I love how he comes with no scare tactics and discusses real science. This needs to be beaten into the heads of politicians everywhere.

A great reduction of Lomborg's must read book "The Skeptical Environmentalist". This movie highlights some of the most critical problems to tackle first and highlights some of the greenwashing that's going on otherwise. I would love to see both the book and movie released again with updated data.

I can't allow myself to be over critical of Bjorn. However, I think his repeated statement that I'm sure he could substantiate (but does not) that the Al Gore solution will give us a half-degree of cooling by the end of the century loses its effectiveness in this presentation. One-half degree of cooling means that warming is halted. Holy stars, I'll take that deal!
