PROS: For those of you who are hot or even the women going through the changes (ladies you know what I mean), this is a really helpful item.
CONS: The price is OK, though a little high. But if ordered alone it's not worth it with the shipping, because you'd be paying way too much. I would suggest trying to get it with other qualifying purchases to take advantage of the free super saver shipping.
It's an evaporative cooler. You might get wet.
Depending on taste, you have some color options. Personally, I wouldn't pay more for color/ design, but some are still 5.89 like this one.
I have only had this a few days, so I can't speak to the longevity of the product, but it's so cheap, I don't care!
It keeps us cool, and that is what is important. It won't break the bank, either. A couple of these would work for a full 8 hour shift in 100 degrees by alternating between the 2. I can't seriously ask for more.
I do recommend you use a bottle of non-mineralized (no dasani!) bottled water to wet it down when you can, we have very hard water and it started to smell funny after 2 weeks! I put cold water in a coffee travel mug, and slide it in, just remove it when i get to work. Ladies, a good way to get it to lay flat on the base of your neck (rather than choking yourself by tying it) is to tuck the ends down through the sides of your bra! Then if it shifts, you can stealthily grab the trailing end and tug it back into place, lol!
I used it daily for a while, but now I'm not needing it as much since I'm getting used to the heat and physical exertion, however, if you let it dry completely until the filling 're-crystalizes' (it doesn't go back to a powder), you'll have to leave it in water for about an hour to rehydrate, and work the filling through the length again. If you're re-wetting it every day and it only gets limp, not completely dry, it's much easier to rehydrate.
Cons:not visually attractive and one day use Pros: easy to use, comes in various colors and most importantly does the job and keeps the body temperature down.

Ordered 2 of these. On the first use, one of the seams split and the "filler" spilled out onto the contents of our ice chest. I threw both of them away.Published 21 days ago by Jenny G
Not worth it, it didn't stay cold to give me relief. I wouldn't but it again. Also its to small.Published 22 days ago by GirlSerenity
Really didn't stay cold more than an hour. The heat from your body warms it.Published 1 month ago by Nancy D. Pelosi
works ok, its not magic. Not sure its much better than a washcloth. I would freeze mine then get them wet before use but I was working in the attic.Published 5 months ago by canoe
If you have hot flashes, this is for you. It requires a soak in cold water. For me that was a bucket of ice with just enough water to get this wet.
Pros: It was COLD! Read more
