I don't. Whisper quiet and has a nice glow to it. The lights are placed on the side that would face inward if the fan was venting out. This doesn't really effect the light much but it will be slightly brighter if its placed as such. I have it on the bottom of my HAF 922 to pull air up into the case and its noticeable in airflow and light, just not sound.

Would recommend, ordered a second and will put them on my CoolerMaster hyper 212 cpu cooler, then put its 120mm fan on the bottom as I want the led fans centermost in the case to spread that lovely red glow around!

THE COMPETITION:
I have a cooler Master Stacker 830 with 7 120mm fans mounted in it. I've tried 3 different brands of fan trying to find the right combination of color, noise level and reliability. Logisys has poorly produced fans (loud rattling from 2 of 4 units), and the LEDs tend to be more orange than red. they offer good air flow though. Rosewill has fans that break if you look at them wrong, but are a nice shade of red, and have decent airflow while they last. the color effect is bright on both of these fans, (even if it's not the RIGHT color).

THE CONTENDER:
Coolermaster fans don't produce as much airflow as those listed above, But the LEDs are the right color red, and the fans do not have any undue rattling noises. they started out pretty loud, but after a few days of normal use, they quieted down to no louder than any of my (surprisingly still working) Rosewill fans. The smoke colored fan blades means the color effect is more muted/subtle that the fans with clear blades.

THE CONCLUSION:
- at first i didn't like that the coolermaster fans 'sublet' lighting, but as i've had time to evaluate the fan, i've decided that i now like the effect better that my other fans, and will be replacing all the fans in my case with Coolermaster fans. Overall i am VERY HAPPY with these fans

THE NOTES:
- If you want a fan that is absolutely quiet you're going to have to blow on the components yourself. you can't move air with a bladed fan and not make noise.
- If you don't like the noise your case is making with the fans running flat out, by a fan controller and run them at 70%. You'd be surprised how much quieter that is.

Have 7 of these 4 with my H100i cooler and 3 on front. These fan are my favorite they keep my airflow very well. No over heat inside my build plus they are quiet. No noise make I love these fans and they make my build look nice with these lights. just get them. I highly recommend these fans, no issue so far have them for years.

I don't know how people say that this fan has a nice glow! It almost doesn't glow and I don't like it. Besides, this fan is not very quiet, even after I set it to rotate with the least speed and "Quite" profile in my motherboard (ASUS Z-87 Pro) BIOS.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND it to anybody who need nice red glow.

Great fans have 4 in PC and they do a great job of cooling. Super quiet, except for the one I installed on the top of the case (switch the screws out for rubber mounts cured the problem). So not a fan issue more of a case vibration.

Great fan, mounted on the side of my case (since there aren't any other mounting spots on my cheap case). Mount feels firm and stable, fan is almost silent during operation (idle or load).

Would recommend, unless you want a very bright light.

I have two of these on my HAF XB EVO unit behind the front mesh. While you can see the light coming through, it's nothing near what the picture shows you'll get. If you're looking for a few red sparkles, you'll love this. If you're looking for glaring red light like in the picture, you'll be disappointed.

I love that it used black plastic as it gives it a more solid feel and looks better, but the trade off is that because they used black plastic on the fan blades as well instead of clear, you don't get as much of a lighting effect.

I am still running the Gen 1 Xbox 360, and up until recently was having overheating issues, I bought this fan to mod out my Xbox, now it runs 50% quieter, and runs very cool. Havent had an issue with heat, and looks awesome with the lights out. I placed this directly above my heatsink, and had to seal off the original intakes as to enhance airflow into the unit. Just be sure to buy the grill to place over the fan and look into a filter as more air, means more dust. I only recommend this to folks who have a fairly decent knowledge of how to open their unit, and have some experience maintaining it.
