Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

The fan is mounted at the back of the cubbie in the floor, which also cools the UPS and the VoIP module (Magicjack Plus). The fan is mounted with Bgears 120mm filter grill, Bgears wire grill finger guard and a Ultra vibration dampener.
The fan is powered by a 12VDC CCTV AC power adapter with a 2.1 x 5.5 male power jack. To power this fan you will need a 12VDC 0.5 Amp (or 500 ma) minimum. This fan is energy efficient. It uses only 4.2 to 4.5 watts, which means that running 24/7 this fan will take 9 to 10 days to use 1 kilowatt of electricity. In addition, running 24/7/365 the fan would last about 6 years (50,000 hours).
Had to modify the included power cable meant for a computer tower/cabinet. I used a soldered 2.1 x 5.5 female power jack with screw over housing because prefer soldered connectors, but you can use a CCTV 2.1 x 5.5 female power jack adapter (which are relatively afforded in multipacks here on Amazon) with screw terminals. (There are some posted photos.)
As with any "muffin" box style fans, using a filter will reduce airflow slightly. A rule of thumb is 10% to 15% depending on the filter, the cutout the fan is mounted to, etc.
This fan's 69.69 CFM with the filter on the intake side results is an airflow around 60 CFM give or take in this application, which is still 1 CFS (cubic foot per second). More than enough in many applications.
I used the included screws to mount the wire grill (finger guard and wires too) to the fan exhaust side. I lost one set of screws (bought 2 fans) and found that replacements can be purchased. A four pack of screws PacTech PA-SCREW02, you can find these on line or computer components supply store.
To get the best airflow (CFM) the fan cutout is very complicated. Many times just a round hole is cut in the cabinet or chassis. 120mm is 4.72 inches, so the hole size should be around 4-1/2" to leave enough material for the fan to "seal" to cabinet/chassis.
The vibration dampeners do not affect the airflow in any way but help reduce the noise transferred to the chassis or cabinet. The 19 dB rating makes this fan very quiet in its own right and with the vibration dampening; you can barely hear the fan running!
I found that if you do not install the wire finger guard, the plastic housing "howls" or "hums" slightly in the second application I did. After I installed the wire guard, it stiffened the housing and the "howl" or "humming" went away.
Depending on the wood in your cabinet, you may have to seal the cut suface. The particle board used in one cabinet had very fine saw dust and the fan's suction was pulling some of the saw dust from the cut edge of the hole. I used a craft wood sealer we had, but Kiltz is even better if you have some left from another project. With a foam brush applied 3 coats of wood sealer, allowing 45 minutes between coats to dry. The particle board "soaks up" the sealer, so take your time and get a good even coat each time...then reinstall the fan!

Sound:
Increasing the speed of these fans to their maximum settings (even all 4 at once) still only produced a low hum and at low speed idle, I can't really tell they are on at all. All four of these combined don't produce the noise that 1 of the jet flows I installed will make at half speed. Granted, the jet flow is a higher CFM fan but they sound like your case is about to lift off and take flight, probably why they chose that name.
Cooling Capability:
These fans move plenty of air and so far keep my FX8350 paired with a cooler master hyper 212 evo at 10°C when idle and after an hour of gaming the max it reached was 35°C. My gigabyte GTX 770 idles at 29°C and maxed at 57°C. I didn't even have to crank up the rpm's while gaming to keep the temp that low so these fans certainly did impress.
Looks:
Visually, these fans look great on my black C70 case and produce just the right amount of light so that it will catch someone's eye, but not annoy or distract you when you are gaming or whatever with the lights off. Also, the lights get brighter the higher the fan speed is increased, which I thought was pretty cool. The NZXT Sentry II I mentioned above has leds to label each fan switch that you can change the color of with the push of a button. With it set to red, the colors match these fans perfectly. I took some pics after I got them all installed and sent them to a geeky co-worker of mine and he was jealous because the case looks wicked but not over the top like some cases you see with lights that will blind you and your neighbors.
Price:
69.69 CFM, 2,000 RPM 120mm LED fans under $10 and I've seen the blue ones as low as $6.99. I looked at some Corsair led 120mm fans and they were $15-$20+ for just 1 and they were only around 50 CFM. Good luck beating this deal.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend these in a heartbeat to anyone. And as always, Amazon got my shipment to me on the day they said it would arrive without so much as a dent in the packaging. All 6 of the fans and the controller arrived and worked perfectly. Kudos Amazon, keep up the good work.
One of the things I love most about this fan is its silent operation. It has a sleeve bearing design that helps reduce noise, making it a great choice for those looking to build a quiet PC. It also has a stylish red LED light that adds a touch of color to my setup.
The fan is also very user-friendly, with an easy-to-use design that allows me to install and remove it quickly. It also has a 3-pin connector, which makes it compatible with a wide range of motherboards and fan controllers.
Overall, I highly recommend the Cooler Master SickleFlow 120. It's a great value for the price and is sure to enhance the performance and appearance of any computer.
