I'm ashamed I never reviewed these. I bought them five years ago, and they are still doing a great job. The sound was never anything to write home about, but it works for watching TV. And the microphone isn't fantastic - it is pretty much impossible to get good mic input without a boom - but it can get the job done in a pinch.
I tossed them in my laptop bag, and they've gone without use for months at a time. Somehow they battery survived this. Lately, I've been using them around the house for watching TV on while the wife sleeps.
Just though about them because I am looking for a headset with a microUSB port, as my old model has a mini USB, and I'm tired of having to dig out the right cable. I figure I'll grab something current from the same manufacturer.

I use it for my Vaio, iPad, and iPhone 5 it works just fine. To be honest, I am very particular person and for me to get an electronic that was this cheap made me skeptical. I was not thinking about buying $200+ headphones that I did not think was worth it. Sometimes the product is so expensive and still lack quality which is why I stopped buying Bluetooth headsets. However, this is worth every dime and five stars. When you think about it the price it should tell you somethings might be lacking, but the sound is pretty good, the range is great (I love to walk around the apartment), I'm on my second day of not charging, and the color was why I bought this exact arctic sound. The headphones are flushed with my ears and once the sound is playing it minimizes the sound on the outside. I think the box said it has noise canceling. The things I don't like is that it is behind the head headphones and not OVER HEAD (UGH!), but they are pretty comfortable. I do forget that they are on half of the time. They might get uncomfortable sitting on your ears, but anything in or on your ears get uncomfortable after a long while of wearing them. They are not adjustable, but I really do NOT have the urge to adjust them after using them on the first day. I got used to them already. Beware though they do leak sound, but which pair of headphones don't? A lot of them do. The ones I got for my iPhone 5 does if you turn them up too loud. I think the Kinivo, and iKross might be the same headphones. But, the Arctic Sound comes with a cool solid carrying case and that was the deal breaker for me. Actually, the LG HBS-700 was my first choice, but I think I might still get them.If you are thinking about buying the Arctic go ahead. I'm recommending them to everyone lol. However, this is only my second day with them, so they better not have a short life span or I will be taking back each of my five stars. Enjoy!

I'd been looking for a wireless alternative to sound. I'm a Mac-head, so I have iPhone, iPad, iPod, MacBook Pro and iMac, all with Bluetooth capabilities, but honestly I don't have the money to buy high-end headphones like Bose. I do a lot of walking while listening, and normally, the ear buds that I'd been using used to fall out of my ears all the time. I decided to try these. Worst case scenario, if they sucked, I'd return them. I'm so glad I tried them! On the ears, they are very comfortable. I was skeptical about the "behind the neck" style, thinking it would be uncomfortable, but honestly, after a few minutes, I totally forgot they were even on my head. I've had them cranked all the way up and have gotten no distortion at all. I'd read where they suck the battery life out of an iPhone, but the other day, I used them non-stop for about 4 hours and my iPhone 4S was still at 88% battery. I haven't even had to charge the battery on the headset yet! They even have a built in mic so that if you get a phone call while listening, the music stops and you can take the call. I've had that happen once and the caller said they could hear me just fine and vice-versa. The small case that comes with them is perfect to throw in a bag/purse/backpack. I only wish I had these last year when I was doing a lot of flying. I have decided I do NOT miss cords!! I'll keep my eyes on these and maybe even buy a second set to keep in case something happens to the ones I'm using now. The only negative I've found at all (and it's a small one) is that after awhile, the top of my right ear got a tiny bit sore, because you slide the tops of your ears in between the speaker and the part that goes around the neck. Other than that, they're perfect!

I got these a year and a half ago, and I still really like them.
Pros:
01) Excellent Sound, great for playback of MP3's.
02) Doubles as a wireless hands-free Bluethooth headset with microphone.
03) Excellent noise cancelling microphone.
04) Microphone clearly picks up and transmitts your voice very well, dispite being located next to your ear.
05) No microphone boom to get in the way.
06) Pairs easily with MP3 Players, phones, tablets, and PC's.
07) Long lasting battery has never conks out on me.
08) Uses standard Mini USB connector to recharge.
09) Recharges pretty quickly. Never timed it, but it's always done when I check.
10) When not in use, rests on neck.
11) Headphones are not fragile.
12) Nice controlls on headset for Answer/Hangup, Volume Up/Down, Pause/Play, Next/Previous Track.
13) Auto-Pause when ringing/taking/making call.
14) Auto-Resume (if paused) after call.
15) Design provides privite listening, even at high volume. Keeps complaints to a minimum in quiet enviroments, like in a library.
16) Nice carry case holds headphones, charging cable and manuel no problem.
17) Charges easily on PC, Laptop, or normal USB Charger. I've successfully fully charged it using the charger that came with my **__CHEAP__** Emmerson In-The-Ear Bluetooth headset I got from Big Lots.
18) Very light. 2.8oz.
19) Fits very securely on your ears. Purchased for listening while running/joging, and they stay put.
20) Makes you look cool. (Hey, I needed a 20th!)
Cons:
01) When resting on neck, it pinches and pulls hair a little. Uncomfortable on neck for long periods.
02) Does NOT use USB Micro connection for charging like everything else, meaning you have a mini connector to keep track of.
03) USB connector ONLY for recharging, cannot be used to transfer audio data to headset. (Boo hoo!)
04) Folded shape is awkward, and feels fragile.
05) Headphones feel fragile.
06) Kind of bulky.
07) USB Charger not included.
08) To take full advantage of their abilities on Windows 7 Ultimate x64, it required me to download and install new Bluetooth drivers from a different website. Info on this is in the manual.
The Skinny:
Buy em. Great sound, good headset. I paid about $40 for them. For less they are a steal!

Dissapointed
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 18, 2013Verified Purchase
bought and found it to be sturdy in build with easy enough pairing to laptop and phone and for the few seconds it stayed on it sounded alright. But there is the problem it would only stay on a few seconds at a time. I checked the packaging and it was labelled defective and DOA so i think the seller was passing defective/seconds products. So it might be a decent product but just not from my seller. Not recommended.

It is a good quality bluetooth hands free kit at a reasonable price, and it works as expected. I have not noticed any problems with it.
Just the job for connecting to my phone and tablet.

Correct, mais une mauvaise ergonomie
Reviewed in France on December 10, 2014Verified Purchase

ottimo ascolto, microfono mediocre
Reviewed in Italy on March 20, 2013Verified Purchase
