Product description
Product Description
"Revolutionary Cooling Systems' Cooper Cooler quickly chills room temperature beverages for a cold, refreshing drink. Just pour ice and water into the Cooper Cooler, select the container setting, and the cooler does the rest. A patented process chills by rotating beverages while simultaneously spraying them with ice water. The appliance will cool a 12 ounce beverage can from 77 degrees to 43 degrees in about 1 minute. An ""extra"" chill setting chills beverages to 34 degrees. The cooling process will not effect a drink's taste, composition, or cause carbonated beverages to fizz and explode upon opening. The Cooper Cooker is great for parties, road trips, dorm rooms, and office break rooms. - Dimensions: 8.0 IN x 15.9 IN x 10.8 IN "

Guests arriving unexpectedly? Chill up to six cans or one bottle of wine in just minutes with this rapid cooler. All that's required is a tray or two of ice cubes, some water, the beverage containers, and a push of a button. A can of pop or beer chills from room temperature to 43 degree F in just one minute; the extra-chill setting takes it right down to 34 degrees F. A bottle of wine (the machine lid removes for extra-long bottles) chills in just six minutes. Beverage containers rotate horizontally while being bathed by a jet of ice water, a process that is 40 times faster than chilling beverages in a freezer, and carbonated drinks won't explode or fizz upon opening. To warm drinks, such as a bottle of baby formula, simply add hot water instead of ice. The Cooper Cooler, invented by a chemical engineering student, includes other handy features such as preset time buttons on the touchpad, a no-spin option, add-ice indicator light, and automatic-off when done. Non-slip feet keep the machine firmly in place. Measuring approximately 16 by 10-1/2 by 8 inches, this model comes in a contemporary brushed-chrome finish, plugs into any 120v outlet, and is covered by a one-year warranty against defects.

To use you end up putting some cold water and ice cubes which means your bottle labels will get wet and then scratched by one of the "blades" used to spin the bottle. This results in an unpleasant presentation for guests - especially with wine bottles but it even annoys me for beer bottles.
If you are someone who likes a cold drink after it's sat outside of the fridge for about 20 minutes, then you'll be fine. However, if you wish your drinks were 33 degrees Fahrenheit you'll be disappointed.
That said; I can testify to what he has said and I've heard. First, its a little loud. No so loud that it is hurtful but enough that you might want to hold off a conversation until you are done with it.
It definitely gets the beer to a frostiness that my husband enjoys so he is happy with the fact that it performs as advertised.
I can see how if you were out in a workshop, and you wanted to take some beers with you it would be a handy thing to have to cool your beer BUT, you do have to have access to ice, so a cooler with ice would also be needed.
I could also see it being useful if you have an unexpected visitor and needed to cool some beer fast - it would be great.
I was stoked for this and love how well it worked while it did... but I'm less than a day in and it broke. Very upset.
How many times have you put a warm beverage into a freezer just to later find it frozen or not cold enough? So aggravating! The Cooper Cooler will not freeze or under chill your beverage if you follow the operator recommendations. If you have you ice left over after chilling your immediate-need beverages just chill 1 or 2 more beverages and put them into the refrigerator. That way, no energy is lost and you're not dumping ice down the drain. Cheers!!

No more fridge fights between food and beer! You can keep your beer in a cupboard and chill it on demand.
I unboxed mine today as soon as it arrived and found the warmest can of drink I could find in the house. Filled with ice, topped up the water and 1min later was drinking an ice cold can of Coke. Since it's arrival at 3pm today I've drank so much ice cold fluid I'm swishing about!
The product does exactly what it says, yes it uses quite a bit of ice but hey, it's only ice!
I highly recommend this and believe me, when you get one you will wonder how on earth you survived before it!!
