Revolutionary Cooling Systems' Cooper Cooler quickly chills room temperature beverages for a cold, refreshing drink. Just pour ice and water into the Cooper Cooler, select the container setting, and the cooler does the rest. A patented process chills by rotating beverages while simultaneously spraying them with ice water. The appliance will cool a 12 ounce beverage can from 77 degrees to 43 degrees in about 1 minute. An "extra" chill setting chills beverages to 34 degrees. The cooling process will not effect a drink's taste, composition, or cause carbonated beverages to fizz and explode upon opening. The Cooper Cooker is great for parties, road trips, dorm rooms, and office break rooms.
Guests arriving unexpectedly? Chill up to six cans or one bottle of wine in just minutes with this rapid cooler. All that's required is a tray or two of ice cubes, some water, the beverage containers, and a push of a button. A can of pop or beer chills from room temperature to 43 degree F in just one minute; the extra-chill setting takes it right down to 34 degrees F. A bottle of wine (the machine lid removes for extra-long bottles) chills in just six minutes. Beverage containers rotate horizontally while being bathed by a jet of ice water, a process that is 40 times faster than chilling beverages in a freezer, and carbonated drinks won't explode or fizz upon opening. To warm drinks, such as a bottle of baby formula, simply add hot water instead of ice. The Cooper Cooler, invented by a chemical engineering student, includes other handy features such as preset time buttons on the touchpad, a no-spin option, add-ice indicator light, and automatic-off when done. Non-slip feet keep the machine firmly in place. Measuring approximately 16 by 10-1/2 by 8 inches, this model comes in a contemporary brushed-chrome finish, plugs into any 120v outlet, and is covered by a one-year warranty against defects.

- Works great!
- Chills wine, beer (bottle and cans), energy drinks, and
- Chilled drinks are ready drink and don't get shaken
- The unit is highly portable and can be used in a RV or similar situation.
- Also can be used to heat baby bottles!
- Never have to worry about opening up the freezer to see a cleaning nightmare.
- Needs ice to work (or hot water for baby bottles)
- Chilled a bottle of wine but unit leaked a small amount of water at the front opening of the unit (drops of water bouncing off the bottle)
All things considered, this is one of the best kitchen gadgets I have ever bought! It not only does what it says what but it saves me from cleaning, increases fridge space (from not having to store beverages in it) and saves time.
Below is my original review. I actually wrote this while the machine was chilling a bottle. I set it to go and, being frustrated with the product issues, decided to write a review. When I got back a few minutes later to retrieve my bottle I realized my entire counter was drenched. It sprung a leak and drained the entire contents all over my counter while I was at my PC writing a review. So now it's been downgraded from a 3 star review to 1.
I strongly caution you against this item. It works well for a while, but it's really poorly made, and I no longer feel it's worth the hassle.
This is my second Cooper Cooler and I'm really torn about getting a 3rd. Here's the thing...this chiller works fantastically! It's the best chiller out there in terms of its ability to chill a beverage in a reasonable amount of time. The problem is that it's really poorly made. The first Cooper Cooler I bought actually had a direct AC power line into it and a transformer inside. After a couple of years of moderate use the transformer burned up (literally) and we had to scrap that one. I bought a new one, and this one has a wall wart power brick with a DC input, so I could see they were clearly making improvements on the product. However, with this one, it quickly developed problems. First, it started to have issues rotating. It would start off fine but begin to slow down over the course of chilling a bottle and eventually stop entirely. In the beginning I could give it a nudge and it would continue spinning for a while, but now it's gotten to the point where it doesn't restart once it stops. Second, it's developed an issue with the controls and the "no spin" button no longer works. This means I can't chill beer or soda anymore, so it's restricted to only wine. Unfortunately, by the time we started noticing problems it was outside of the Amazon warranty period. I contacted the company but they never responded. So I'm stuck with a failing product and no real solution to my issues.
I'm hesitant to recommend this to anyone because it really seems like it's poorly made...but it's really good at what it does as long as it keeps working. I'd like to get another one, but I don't trust the company anymore, and their customer service is truly lacking if they didn't even bother to respond.
All in all, this is a really great cooler for a really short period of time. Buy at your own risk, but don't expect any assistance if it starts to fail.
We were so hoping to replace our prior Cooper Cooler, which we have had now for more than 8 years and have loved using. Unfortunately, it appears there may be a quality control issue at play here, so we plan to wait a period of time before attempting another purchase.
I tested beer, soda and a bottle of wine. I live in the canyons in LA and tested the units on a 98 degree day.
It works, but it uses a bunch of ice and is kind of a pain to clean up afterwards (not a huge pain, but cleaning up is sort of against the whole point of the convenience of getting drinks cold faster).
