Allen's attention to detail is amazing. I have had this same journey but frankly do not remember the details this vividly. This is a very person experience that he has chosen to share fully with others for which he should be commended and thanked. As he stated from the beginning there is a note of caution that while many of us have been there as well, no two journeys will be the same as no two cancers are the same. If you have already been there, you know that and if you are at the starting line you will find this to be true. Regardless, enjoy and learn from reading about Allen's experience.

Taking the mystery out of the treatment of prostate cancer!

I am a fellow prostate cancer survivor. Although my treatments were taken in Italy where I live, my name could have been easily substituted for that of the author's. Based on the author's descriptions and those of several of my friends who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, the global medical community follows very similar treatment sequences for this disease. Of course, the treatments are always fine tuned for the needs of each patient. I encourage anyone diagnosed with prostate cancer to read the book. The inconvenience and duration of the treatment is a small price to pay for the additional years of life received!
