If you're going to be writing any sort of copy (sales brochures, direct mail, website, email marketing, adsense) you will benefit from this book. I will provide a sample of the sort of information you'll get from this book:
The headline must offer a benefit to the consumer. It should suggest a reward for reading the copy.
The headline can perform one or all of four different tasks: Get attention, select the audience, deliver a complete message, draw the reader into the body copy.
If you can legitimately use the word free in the headline you should. It's one of the most powerful tools you have.
Start a swiper file where you keep all of the pieces you find that strike you as good.
I want to point out that once you are writing and creating your own direct mail you will start to see the direct mail that comes to you through rose colored glasses. You will see the positive virtues of every piece. So make sure that when collecting for your swiper file you are very picky.
I would definitely recommend both of these books for beginning beekeepers. I strongly recommend that beginners take a class from their local beekeeping association. They have the experience that will put you on the right path to begin with.
