I Liked it so much that I read the sequel, Sound and Semblance. The Corded Shell is about the concept of expression as it pertains to music, e.g., how music can be expressive of something without being an expression of something. Sound and Semblance deals with the concept of musical representation.

The book arrived promptly and exactly as it was described. There were some small condition issues, but the book was listed as fair condition, so I got precisely what I expected.
