My favorite thing about the book was the permission it gave me to NOT do crunches. Instead I learned why my fat was covering up my current abs and saw results very quickly when i made some easy recommended changes in my lunch choices.
There are a ton of pics that helped me understand some of the more geeky trainer stuff and like almost 100 exercises to try.
Im a social butterfly, and clothes horse, who loves looking good and showing off my hard work. This book was really worth the read, i've seen noticeable results and fixed some mistakes I didn't even know i was making!
I read that article in the Times about how crunches are really bad for you, and when I saw that this book preaches the same thing and offers lots of alternatives, I figured I would give it a shot. And holy crap are there lots of exercises in this book! I didn't know there were so many options to work the core without crunches. The exercises are really unique - many I've never seen before, I thought I'd seen it all.
