Corelle Livingware Bandhani 10-1/4” Dinner Plate, Pack of 6
A paisley-like motif tops the rich red band that graces the rim of this Corelle dinner plate. Named after a type of tie-dye found in India, Corelle Bandhani dinnerware brings an exotic flair to your table. Bandhani is both stylish and sensible.
The original break and chip resistant glass dinnerware. Trust that it can stand up to the rigors of everyday life and still look great. 3 year replacement warranty against breaking and chipping.
Corelle takes pride in its manufacturing excellence. Vitrelle glass is made and thoroughly quality tested. Corelle is manufactured with nearly 70 percent of recycled glass. Additionally the design pigments used are food safe and FDA approved.
3 Layers of Vitrelle Glass
The 3 layers of glass are thermally bonded together by laminating a top and bottom layer of clear skin glass to a core center layer, which creates dinnerware that’s lightweight but strong, thin but nonporous.
Break & Chip Resistant
Vitrelle is a unique, tempered glass that is resistant against breaks & chips. The special glass makes versatile Corelle dinnerware as thin and translucent as fine china, yet dramatically stronger.
Vitrelle is lightweight and thinner than typical ceramic plates when stacked, Corelle takes up less space in cabinets than conventional ceramic plates and bowls.
Vitrelle is microwave safe and even safe for oven use up to 350 degrees.

I have not dropped any, so I don't know if they will chip or break. I will say that during Christmas dinner my Grandmother commented that she has had the same set of Corelle plates for over 30 YEARS! I never thought plates had pros or cons but now I realize that I am probably going to be a Corelle fan for life. I will say that a slight con would be that the designs are really blah and not anesthetically pleasing; however, if you go with a plain design, such as the Winter Frost, it can compliment many designs or themes. Also, when staking the plates some seem slightly warped. It isn't something I notice when using a plate by itself. Corelle Livingware 6-Piece Dinner Plate Set, Winter Frost White
I have attached a picture a seven Corelle plates stacked on top of seven of the other plates we have in our cabinet.
I have had Corelle for many years and had several different colors/series, but I like this Winter Frost White the best as they go with ANY decor or holilday setup. They are perfect for a casual family get-together, or a formal dinner party.
I plan on using these dishes for many years to come. I am very happy with them - they are virtually indestructable!
I finally ordered these lunch plates to add to our existing Corelle dish set that we’ve had for over 5 years now. My family of 4 uses them daily and they still look great without any chips or scratches. These lunch plates are a good size (8 1/2”) for smaller portion-sized meals or a sandwich.
Overall I love my Corelle dishes. They’re durable, space saving and have a classic, timeless appearance.
Here's my tip: The lids from the large plastic tubs of Folgers ground coffee make excellent lids for these bowls! While not air or water tight, they're perfectly sized to securely snap into place. They're a great alternative to plastic wrap when packing lunches, and ensures that the food does not fall out during transport. Plus, you can use the lids to stack bowls of food in the fridge!
Now my review: We've used these types of bowls for 30+ years, and they're really low-maintenance, never chip, easy to clean, and won't break unless seriously dropped from a foot or more (they should do fine if accidentally dropped in the sink while doing dishes). Plus, I like this 6-pack in particular because it came with the Corelle protective packaging, and seems to offer better protection than if wrapped in paper, like how you'd get them if bought in the store.Plus, the Corelle packaging offers a nicer presentation in case you're giving them as gifts -- our relatives in Asia love these.
