Hello everyone! I was an impressionable teen during Freestyles'heydey. I own almost all of the classic freestyle songs;either on 12" singles(which I bought at the time or when a thrashin' cut came out) or on compilations over the years. But now it is the year 2005 and I'm getting nostalgic(turned 32y/o last Dec. 8th.
Corina had such a smooth and clear singing voice and her songs always made me get emotional; yet riled up and dancing. I was very fortunate to have been able to see her perform live 2x's; first at Chicago's Pan-American fest(1991)and then a Forever Freesyle tour at The Rivera(1995).
This c.d. show cases Corina at her definite best, but if you get a chance try to locate her 1st 3 singles either on vinyl(if still available somewhere;I doubt it, or any freestyle compilation/mix c.d. Her first Single: "Out of Control"-1987; "Give Me Back My Heart"-1988; "Loving You Like Crazy"-1990(all excellent club songs);of course "Temptation" put her on the map mainstream in a Billboard sense. Corina, I hope you see this by chance and know that you have fans that are waiting for your comeback and all of the artists that touched us with your voices and lyrics and inspired us to continue to sing and pursue our dreams.
So fans, "Corina" is a definite keeper. Hopefully, her fist three singles will make their way onto a compilation someday- let's keep our fingers crossed; maybe a Carlos Berrios(producer of a couple of her tracks), greatest hits compilation, "hint, hint" ha, ha. I know alot of old vinyl is out of print but if you search hard @ record shops, a CORINA record might turn up.

P.S. I'm leaving a listing of CORINA'S dicography. We love you CORINA!- PLS. MAKE A COMEBACK SOMETIME SOON.
-J.A.H.

This is indeed not the Corina of old.

The new Corina is beautiful, talented and has a voice that

makes the hairs on one's neck stand up.

I see on her website: [...] that she

has a song on the "Sex & the City" commercials.

Good work, long may your music play, Corina.

An avid fan.

I only was interested in Temptation. Interestingly enough, the first time, 2nd time, etc., I heard this I thought she was saying "geisha". The problem with that is that the rest of the lyrics seemed to actually support that possibility. That's why it took me so long to find this CD. They play this song on the "radio" in the grocery store I work at.

The single "Feel For You" is a warm ballad by New York singer Corina, who also did the vocals of 'To Love And Be Loved' on John Barry's soundtrack album "Swept From The Sea".

"Feel For You" written by Corina and her sister Cornelia, and recorded by Joe Hogue, a Grammy and Emmy Award winner is very much an autobiographic song; turning down a person who wanted to be her lover.

The second song on the CD, "Hugs & Kisses" was written in honour of the father of a classmate and friend of the family who died in the World Trade Centre on September 11th.

Corina has a very warm and soulful voice which really goes to the heart.

I give 5 stars; also to counter the nonsensical 1 star below.

Even though Corina does not have a powerful voice like other Freestyle/Club/Dance artists like Judy Torres & Nayobe, this is a solid album. Styles: Club/Dance, Urban, House. Highly recommended! so here are the correct tracklistings.
1. Tempatation (first single)
2. Now That You're Gone
3. If You Believe
4. Searching
5. Whispers (second single)
6. No Excuses
7. It's My Life
8. I've Got It In For You (Boy/Love)
9. When I Miss You
10. Don't Walk Away
