I got the original Corridor 7 on a 3.5" disk from the NEX back in 95 or so. I had a 486 computer that only had 2mb of ram. The computer didn't have sound (it did have a PC speaker but it wasn't capable of doing any more sound than beeps and simple music) and it could not run the more advance games of the time like doom. So as time went on, I really enjoyed the Corridor 7 game. I recall in the game manual it had an advertisement to get the CD version of the game by sending a check to Capstone. I always desired to have it but since I didn't have the computer or capability of playing it, I ignored it.

Around 97, I finally got a awesome computer that had Windows 95 installed. I decided to get all the games I always wanted to play. From Doom, to other hits. The one that I really wanted was Corridor 7 so I begged my parents to get it and they decided to send the check in the mail. Turns out Capstone was closed and I got the check back in the mail stamped "return to sender." Being bummed I never really tried any other way and the game was soon forgotten.

It wasn't until recently when Amazon had Corridor 7 listed under the suggestions tab that I finally remembered this game. I decided to get the game in the mail and give it a shot. I don't remember much other than maybe the first level and the music and sound effects are great. I recall the 3.5" disk version had a final boss fight that had a lot to desire for but I'm hoping the 10 extra levels will play out great here.

Overall this game brings back a lot of memories. There is another review talking about how hard it is to install this game on modern systems. I'm running it on dosbox. You don't even need to have the cd in at all time.

I just ordered this game, have not recieved it yet. However in the past I played it for hours and hours. Loved it. Challenging doom like game. I rated it only 3 overall because the newer opperating systems can make it tough to get fully set up. Sound can be a problem. I ran a demo on windows XP and did not have sound. However I think if I worked with it I could get it set up fully. If you like older shooter games that suprise you on each corner check this one out.
