As a first-time builder, the features that attracted me to this case are:
1. The large size makes installation easy and provides open space for airflow.
2. It has a lot of fan mounts (I am overly paranoid about temperature control)
3. It is strong, fits tightly together for no rattling sounds, and is customizable.
The size of the case and the abundance of fan mounts provide excellent airflow. Additionally, all of the fan mounts have easily removable mesh filters that allow for quick cleaning. Don't overlook the PSU intake filter on the bottom.
Since this is my first build, I thought I would struggle mounting all the parts because of needing to work in confined spaces; however, the mobo was probably the most difficult part, but even mounting it was simple. I think the standoffs may have been a bit short compared to what I saw in videos. You may want to buy some taller ones if it makes you nervous. I mounted a large CPU cooling tower, and it still has a few inches of space in the case. Cable management was also easy due to the amount of open space behind the mobo.
I didn't notice this in the specs, but I was pleasantly surprised to find 2 additional mounts out of the way on the backside for SSD drives and mounts for 2 HDDs at the bottom. Although, I removed the HDD mounts because I don't need them, and they are near the PSU. They may restrict room for power cables.
The side panel window provides a normal amount of visibility for RGB enthusiasts. It is important to note that the window is glass, not clear plastic. This means it is heavier and obviously breakable. Be careful with it.
The case is solid, silent, and easy to configure. I don't know what else a person would want in a case. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a large tower. If you are designing a compact build, this is not your case.
My favorite part of this case, besides its sleek aesthetic, are the front and rear panels. They just clip on the rear of the case, and then you can secure them with the CAPTIVE screws. it beats having to hold the front panel in place while you get the screws in it. This one you just apply some pressure and it clips right into place. Same for the back panel, much easier than having to line up all of the holes along the top and bottom, you just insert the panel along the front, then clip it in the back, screwing it in with CAPTIVE screws.
What I liked most about the case is the accessibility to mount fans all along the front top and rear of the case. I really don't like the idea of my PC getting too warm, so I got additional corsair fans to mount all around it to pull air in and out, which was very easy to install for this case.
I love the finish of the metal, I got the black version, and I appreciate the matte metal finish, no blemishes were on mine, and the tempered glass is a nice tinted kind and also nice and hefty, so I like the overall build quality of this case. Very simple and effective and I would recommend it for someone who isn't going with a flashy pc build. Certainly would also look good with the all RGB lights design, but I didn't go that route.
Another thing I hate is dust. Man I dislike getting dust on my electronic equipment, so what scared me about this case was that it has so much open areas for air to flow through the case, that dust would start to pile up inside. But I was excited to see that the front, top and bottom of the case all have dust guards that either clip in or are attached via magnets. So rinsing these dust guards off every so often will keep the inside of you pc nice and dust free, which I really enjoy. Also just to note, Corsair is going with yellow highlights on certain screws and their branding on one of the dust guards, but it is extremely small amount of yellow. Besides these yellow highlights the case is all black, but its something to keep in mind if you don't want any other color on your case. I suppose you could remove them if you'd like, but I enjoy the yellow tags.
The cable management for this case is really nice, as there are many channels and openings from the front to back of the case to get your cables through and wrap up with ties. The case also comes with these nice corsair velcro ties that hold big bundles of your cables together with, and I appreciate that include as they were really nice and big.
There are only three cons I can think of for this case, and they aren't very big:
1. Some of the metal pieces, especially the pieces you will connect the exterior fans or radiator to, are really thin pieces of metal. While I like that they are thin, when you screw in the fans, you need to be careful cause they can be easy to bend. Again it's not even that bad, just be careful when screwing things into this case case the metal can be so thin.
2. The big tempered glass door on the front sits very securely in place, but when you want to open the front of the case you need to unscrew the panel to the case and physically pull it out and place it somewhere else. This is the same for the back of the case too, but the back panel is metal. The biggest difference I wish this case had was that this glass panel swung out, so that you didn't need to take it off. Its still really well made, but I like my glass panel to be free of smudges, and when you have to handle it and take it off every time you need to access the inside of your pc, it is annoying having to physically take it off and get your fingerprints on the glass.
3. The last thing is that the power supply with the cables is a really tight fit in the bottom of the PC, but its only tight if you have the hard drive holder in. I would suggest unscrewing the hard drive holder and taking that out when you are building inside your pc so you can easily get at the power supply. WIth the hard drive holder out, its actually pretty accessible to get to the power supply ports. The only con here is that its such a tight fit with the holder in, and trying to screw the hard drive holder in while all the cables are running up next to it into the power supply is really annoying and tight.
Besides those three really small cons, I really enjoy the look, feel and accessibility of this case. I would recommend to anyone who wants that airflow quality and I like the look of it as well, really simple and clean.

Granted, it says nothing in the description about the Motherboard Accessory being included, but the fact is, I have sent several questions to them asking about this, its even on their website as a product, but their is no way to order it? Now if you wanted to have more then 2 SSDs, you can use the Hard Drive tray included, but you have very, very little cable clearance if your using a 180mm PSU such as the RM850. You can move the hard drive tray over 1cm to create some more room, but not if you have a RAD mounted in the front.
Also, the fact they did not include the plate that covers that part of the shroud is beyond me. If you are using the front as an intake only with Fans, you will have a gaping hole in the shroud unless you buy the plate from corsair (its not even available to purchase yet!).
The front filter is extremely flimsy, if you are using fans with high static pressure, I can assure you the constant flapping of the filter will annoy you. You also only get two fans included. Strange that an airflow case only has two fans, but can house 6? Also the fans they come with? You cant purchase those separately either. You only have 1 USB slot at the front, granted it clearly shows that, but really? Just 1? you couldn't even add a USB 2.0 slot?
Corsair has made a nice looking case with decent airflow at a fairly low cost, however, competitors cases at the same price point offer far, far more value for your money (Fractals Meshify C). Corsair really skimped on some of the basics to make this case as cheap as it is. Whilst these are all small things in hindsight, combining them together gives this case more issues then it is worth.
After you purchase the PSU Shroud Plate, the Accessory Board for the back (when either are available!) and possibly even a front USB Hub, you would be better off just buying the more expensive case that has all of these included anyway!
I have returned my case.
1 star for the looks, 1 star for airflow.
My System is running a X570 M/B with a 3700x, 16GB RAM, RTX 2060, 2x LL140 Fans (Front), 2x ML140 Fans (Top) and 1x LL120 Fan (Rear)
Everything about this case is just simple and well built, the tempered glass side panel, back panel and front filters just pop off. They are all secured tight when popped back in.
Cable management in this case was a pleasure with plenty of space in the back.
I couldn't run 140mm Fans at the top of my 400c as they fouled on my VRM Cooling but that wasn't a problem with the 4000d.
One thing to note is that there is not enough room to run a 280mm cooler at the front if you want the pipes at the bottom. This isn't a big problem as long as the pump is lower than the top of the radiator as I have done. See JayzTwoCents and Gamers Nexus for more details on this.
The glass side panel is so clear it catches my eye every now and then and I think the panel is off.
Airflow through the front is great. My 3700x runs around 30c idle and 65c under load with the fans at 45%
The only problem I encountered was the front panel USB 3.0 connector was very tight when plugging it into my motherboard and it almost broke when I tried unplug it. A simple fix for this would be to buy USB 3.0 extension cable for inside. This also allows to hide the cable as it is quite bulky like all USB 3.0 Cables.

There is a fault with the front dust filter which is loose and this pressed up against the fans causing a static noise.
I have had to open a complaint with Amazon to get this resolved as they wanted me to send the whole case back instead of sending out a working replacement dust filter!! An impossible task if you have a fully built custom water cooled computer. It is not viable.
This would not be a problem to resolve if purchasing direct from Corsair or buying from a PC retailer

PSU compartment is a bit tight, takes some for to get it in.
The white finish scrapes off quite easily. More flex in the panels than I would like, feels a bit flimsy.
The 3.5” HDD cage is pretty much useless, best removed, as it gets in the way of PSU cables, even when moved back. Wasn’t an issue as I wasn’t using any 3.5” drives.
Do NOT use the vertical GPU mount. Waaaaay too close to the side panel, reviews show GPU running 20 degrees C hotter.
Airflow and cooling are great, though this does limit noise suppression. Lots of decent quality dust filters. Ample cutouts for cables, love the side channel.
Overall, decent case for the money, with modern features such as the Type C front panel connector, but a lot of compromises to account for the price. If these bother you, get something more up-market.
