Superior cooling performance and LED illumination
Corsair Air Series LED high airflow PC case fans combine efficient, low-noise airflow with striking LED lighting. The custom-molded blades are designed for high-volume air delivery with less noise and turbulence than typical case fans. They’re translucent, with a frosted texture, so the light from the four LEDs adds a dramatic effect.
Tuned for high-airflow, large volume cooling
Air Series AF fan models perform best in unrestricted spaces with at least 3cm of clearance, and they’re ideal for mounting at the rear or top of your PC case as exhaust fans for your PC’s motherboard and CPU, graphics accelerators, and other components that fill the case with heat. They work equally well as unrestricted intake fans for areas like side panels or bottom intakes.
For high restriction areas like hard drive cages or in other tight spaces where there’s less air volume, check out our Air Series SP models of high static pressure fans.
Better performance than standard case fans
Air Series AF fan models are designed to outperform standard case fans. The blades are custom-molded for optimal airflow, and they’re ultra-thin for less noise and turbulence. The sleeved bearing system reduces vibration for quiet operation.

the first issue is at no fault of the products, but more of my preference, which is that the LEDs are way too bright. unless you're just going for a solid white and black theme, these will stick out like a sore thumb. these two fans are my two exhaust fans in the top and left part of my case (i painted one white to match the white top panel inside the NZXT s340 elite case). white is naturally supposed to blend in with whatever color is bouncing off of it, as you see in my pictures, but the LEDs on these fans are so strong that they stick out like crazy compared to the LEDs on the two radiator fans that came with my ID-cooling cpu cooler. like i said, not the products fault. they're LEDs and they're supposed to be bright, i just didnt realize how out of place it would look in my computer where everything is already white.
BUT the other major problem is that THEY'RE LOUD. like, really loud. i get that i can use a fan controller to make them run slower, but i bought "quiet edition" fans for a reason. they are much louder than the plain stock NZXT fans that were previously installed, and easily the loudest part of my computer. for someone whos desktop sits on their desk next to them, this is not okay. im sure they're moving quite a bit of air, but its not worth it if i have to hear a small wind turbine next to me while i work or play games. i will be putting the original fans back into the case and selling these as soon as i can.
all in all, they werent terrible, and im sure they have a purpose and someone who would enjoy them, but they are definitely not quiet, and i wouldnt want to hear what the non-quiet edition ones sound like
so pros : they work great and look pretty nice
cons : for me they are a tad loud in a quiet room but i do not really care about that to much. and the leds are not as bright as expected but again first computer builder here so maybe my expectations were too high.
here is a pic for you to decide and if you reply to this review let me know if they are of normal lighting or if maybe my batch was bad. either way im happy for this purchase and i would totally buy again if these ever fail ^-^
I LOVE CORSAIR!!!! don't get me wrong, my PSU is Corsair (HX-850M), all my fans are Corsair (AF-120 and SP-120), my water cooler is Corsair (H100i) and my DDR3 memory is Corsair (Vengeance Pro). But they really let me down with these one.
In my previous build i had these same fans but in red... Well, i bought a new case and said to myself ''I should try the ones with the white LED" BIG MISTAKE! I ordered here and when i received them (I live in Dominican Republic btw) one of them was making an unbearable noise. Well, I contacted customer service and they sent me another pair... guess what? both of them were making the same noise. I wasn't planning on incurring in shipping/return charges so i decided to try them at a low speed and still the same noise. At the end i sold them and bought my fans locally (way more expensive but oh well).
I don't know what happened but these white led fans disappointed me! I was expecting better, Corsair :(
For reference, I went to a local PC repair shop and they offered one Arctic 120mm fan for $20, so this was definitely the better choice.
I would like to say that mine did not come with the air flow indicator arrows that are usually on the sides of the fans, but it's no big deal.

Could be better if the decals were better applied and the wiring was heftier.
