Vengeance LPX memory is designed for high-performance overclocking. The heat spreader is made of pure aluminium for faster heat dissipation, and the eight-layer PCB helps manage heat and provides superior overclocking headroom. Each IC is individually screened for performance potential. The DDR4 form factor is optimized for the latest Intel 100 Series motherboards and offers higher frequencies, greater bandwidth, and lower power consumption than DDR3 modules. Vengeance LPX DDR4 modules are compatibility-tested across 100 Series motherboards for reliably fast performance. There’s XMP 2.0 support for trouble-free automatic overclocking. And, they’re available in multiple colours to match your motherboard, your components, or just your style.

CORSAIR CMK16GX4M2B3000C15(Ver4.24) 16GB (8GB*2 ) DS N/A Heat-Sink Package 15-17-17-35 1.35V 3000 2933. Meaning, it can be overclocked to 2933, nothing higher. Well, I didn't pay attention to the VERSION. The Version I received was 5.30. I double checked the chart and saw that this VERSION wasn't on the chart. Any version outside of 4.24, will only run at 2133MHZ. I'm currently using BIOS VERSION 3401. I used BIOS VERSION 1002 AND 3401. I have the ASUS Prime B350-Plus, Ryzen 7 1700, using the stock cooler. Please double check the Version of RAM, BEFORE hand. You can't pick out which version you end up with but, at least you will know BEFORE you install it. I didn't want to sit on this and hope that Asus will eventually fix it. It doesn't make sense to pay that much for ram that will only perform at 2133.
I purchased two separate kits, for a combined total of 64 GB (the max addressable for a Core i7-5820K) in my MSI X99 Krait. Typically you're supposed to get one single kit for best compatibility, but even though I mixed two kits they worked perfectly together. I just filled up all 8 slots, went in to the BIOS and selected XMP Profile #1 for 2666, and everything worked the first boot up. No voltage, timing, or System Agent tweaks were needed, and all DIMMs passed MemTest with no errors. I need the full 64 GB to run multiple virtualizations for software testing, and haven't regretted maxing out the memory.
Another plus: these are low-profile DIMMs, which becomes very important if you have large air coolers. These memory sticks should fit under any CPU coolers on the market. Also, no sharp edges on the heatsinks make them easy to push down to insert and seat properly.
Finally, although it's very subjective, I really appreciate the understated look of this product and their black aluminum heatsinks, without having ridiculous claws/teeth/protrusions coming out everywhere and frightening small children. These modules should match with any computer case theme you might have.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
Threw this in the new rig with a Ryzen 5 2600 and MSI B450M Pro-M2 Motherboard. No issues at all.
Dual-channel 3000, 2x4GB
One thing I noticed, BIOS recognized the XMP profile and my timings at CAS15 (the rating physically listed on the sticks), but Ryzen Master and CPU-Z present my sticks as CAS 16. Not entirely sure which is accurate, but I’m just happy these actually worked without any tweaks out of the box, considering Ryzen’s memory compatibility issues.
My advice is to check your motherboards memory compatibility list, before buying memory, to avoid the headaches you might encounter.
This ram performs just as well and overclocks very easily via XMP. It is very well made and if you look at the plethora of reviews you will see it is made to last and performs really well.
I have not had bad luck with corsair ram in the last 7 years and honestly see no reason to switch.
I was interested in the Trident Z RGB but there were too many negative reviews with it crashing or causing SPD issues. And i only wanted that RAM because i liked the RGB style it had. But goes to show you, always choose performance over cosmetics!!

Mi configuración actual es la siguiente :
Placa base : Asrock AB350M Pro4
Procesador : Ryzen 5 1600 con el disipador de serie
Ram : 2x4Gb a 3000Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum
Fuente de alimentación : EVGA 600W
Les doy igualmente 5 estrellas dado que no es problema de las memorias que no funcionasen con mi configuracion sino mia por no mirar bien la QVL de la placa base
Again Corsair are great, but MSI in particular don't do a great job of supporting XMP memory profiles.
Fortunately Corsair does not disappoint in the performance deparment and has even persuaded me to upgrade my secondary hard drive to an SSD to remove bottlenecking: it's that good. Another negative is the minimalistic packaging with not additional materials: considering the exceptional price!
Then ordered another pair 4x2 16gb total at 2400 again and all was good for about 2 weeks maybe less, then suddenly blue screens, which I thought was strange and checked all other components and no problems, took out new ram sticks 1 at a time discovered the dead stick, now I'm stuck using single channel instead of dual, so slower than 8gb but having enough memory at 12gb.
TLDR, Ram died, passed return date, Stuck on single channel, GG :(
If you're building a gaming PC I would strongly recommend buying 16GB of RAM, as I notice that when I have a game running while also using Discord, the RAM usage edges dangerously close to 8GB.
As with all things PC related now days, its overpriced and will most likely continue to be overpriced as the mining community grows!
