If you want to light up your case, get these sticks! These also have a soft rainbow pulsing effect so it’s not just a static light. I will post a video at some point. I mean you put these in and you really don’t need any other lighting in your rig. It will glow.

I am using these in my Asus Maximus Hero XI (wifi) and mention this because there is another review here saying that these sticks can’t be used in that board.

8/26/19 update: ordered 2 more sticks and added a few more pics of 4 lighting up the case.

I can use one but not two. Two gives a cc error and will not post. 1 stick boots up 70% of the time. I have tried 6 sticks of this RAM on 2 different mother boards. To no avail. Both manufacturers were quick to get me to replace the items. I also spent. MANY HOUR with many tech supports. They talked me into trying one more board but Amazon wants to investigate this next return before the refund me to get another....

Worked flawlessly out of the box. Set the XMP 2.0 profile with just a click in BIOS and it was set up and done. Colors are beautiful albeit a bit of the pastel variety, shade wise.

As far as value for money is concerned I felt that it and pretty much all RAM for PC's as of the date of purchase are still over priced.

Excellent product overall, just took a star off for the cost of this set of RAM sticks.

It not only performs excellent, but the variation in colors looks fantastic! Very easy to install, and the black looks great when the RGB lighting is flashy its colors. Yes, it is more expensive than other ram, but you are paying for quality - and the quality of Corsair in general gives me extra security in buying their products! 10/10 highly recommend!

First try at this product got me a defective set of ram that (badly) failed Memtest86. After quickly getting a replacement: ram works fantastically. I'm not a huge fan of the "RGB" advertising but I got these at the same price as the non-led/rgb equivalent, and I would have to say that the RGB top looks very crisp. It's hard to describe, but since there aren't LEDs on the actual surface of the product, and color is just distributed via light tubes, the top looks like a solid beam of color (compared to intermediate lighting that could be found on RGB LED strips, etc). This looks super nice and lights up my entire case in a simple way, and I have the option to turn it off if needbe. Not too bad. RAM runs at full advertised speed of 3200 mhz, and tested clean on memtest.

Fake B-die or real B-die but defective.

I bought this thinking it was b-die and would OC really well. Well turns out I was wrong. My version is V4.32 which is NOT the desirable V4.31 which is true B-die. These are either defective B-die or fake B-die. Thaiphoon burner says it is B-die, but I suspect this is Corsair trickery or they are rejected B-dies.

Sure it works at XMP, but even a slight OC (Overclocking) or timing tightening and it would not boot. I tried on Maximus X hero wifi with latest Bios and Arous B550 itx mobo with latest BIOS. The results were the same on both. The best I could achieve is 3600Mhz at 18-20-20-44 timing and that was with VRAM voltage at 1.47V. If I set voltage to 1.35V, I would need to loosen the timing to 19-22-22-46. I also tried to keep the same XMP 3200Mhz and reduce the timing and nothing worked even at higher voltage. The best it would do is 16-18-18-36 regardless of voltage. So in short, these RAM OC horribly. If you are OK with the speed and timing, then get it, but for any OC or for Ryzen system, where RAM speed and timing are critical, I would avoid Corsair RAM.

AMD User, unable to get 3200 (max 3000)

First off, I'll cover the pros. If you are an RGB person, this memory is BEAUTIFUL and really completes any case lightning you may already be using. Bought the 32gb kit (16gbx2). The memory was as easy to install as any other, and the heatsink clearance had no trouble with my Noctua NH-U12 heatsink. The memory has been rock solid during benchmarking, gaming, and running multiple VMs (allowed me to almost max it out).

The bad:
I just couldn't get this damn set to reach the advertised 3200! I replaced a 16gb set of non-RGB 3000mhz, so I didn't lose any speed, but man what a bummer! My goal had been primarily to add the RGB element and move to 32GB, but had hoped to get a little speed boost for my Ryzen 2700x by going from 3000-> 3200. Timings are all spot on, I've tried with and without XMP. 90% of the tries I just couldn't get video @ 3200, and the other 10% I would get video, but it would crash almost immediately after getting into Windows.

Edit: 11/24/2020

I've since upgraded my PC with a new motherboard as of the release of Zen 3. Even now, I still cannot get 3200. I had originally give this RAM the benefit of the doubt, and blamed the failure to reach 3200 on my board, but now to me this confirms it is indeed the memory. It has been too long to return via Amazon, so I am going to try to RMA the memory via Corsair's support. I have worked with them in the past and typically they are great.

In the interim, I have knocked two more stars from the memory. I will update my review again as things progress.

I'm sure this product is great (based on other Customer's experiences) however I think I was fleeced on this occasion. I recently embarked on building a PC (last time I did it was 15 years ago). I have been pretty unlucky this time round - the first Motherboard I received was physically damaged and the replacement failed to boot (displaying DRAM POST error). After the first motherboard return I must admit I was lacking confidence in the Manufacturer and it was easy to blame them the second time round, however I'm not too sure now whether the replacement Motherboard was actually faulty.
Let me now talk about the Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR4 Light enhancement kit. Yes, it looks exactly like the real deal, but is totally devoid of any RAM; its only purpose is to fill empty enthusiasts' memory slots and provide the same great lighting effects as the matching memory.
I'm convinced I received this instead of my 'actual' memory. What made me suspicious was the strange spacing between the edge connectors on the board (all images I have seen of the 'real' devices have a fully populated edge connector). It is strange however that the modules had the correct labels on them and came in the correct box. I have now asked for a replacement.
Please be vigilant and be aware that there are components out there that look identical to the real thing!

--Update--
I have now received a response from Corsair' support confirming that the images of my purchase are NOT of the 32GB DDR4 I thought I had purchased, but represented the 'Light enhancement kit' as I feared. They have urged me to contact my supplier for a replacement (Amazon). Many thanks to Corsair for their support.

Now a word for Amazon. My purchase was placed for a 'new' item. The item I received must have been tampered with (possibly a returned item). How could this happen if I paid for a brand new one?

Problems with matching this memory with my TUF x570 board.

It won't allow me to use my profile to allow the ram to run at the correct speeds. It crashes.

So what I paid for and what I got is two different things. I can't even lower the latency.. it just faults and crashes..

The ram runs great though for warzone and other games.

The RGB works okay
I can't seam to sync up with AURA though it just runs it's own lights.

It's definitely not plug and play, you have to edit and change bios settings to get a true setting and when you do it crashes on my board. So dropped a star.

The cl timing is true to what it says but I'm having difficulty changing that.

Great Memory with good RGB features

I'm happy with these memory modules and I think they represent good value for money. I like the ability to control the RGB features using Corsairs ICUE software. You can also use your motherboards software.(at least with my motherboard). The modules that I received appear to be Samsung B Die but I could not overclock them to a higher frequency. I'm using a MSI B450 Pro Carbon motherboard and a Ryzen 3800x CPU. I have had to keep them at their stock 3200 mhz rated speed. I have a similar Corsair RGB Pro 2 x 8 GB Kit that uses Hynix modules that I was able to overclock to 3600 mhz. I use Thaiphoon Burner software in addition to DRAM Calculator for Ryzen software to find out the manufacturer of the modules and the timings to use if attemping to overclock memory. At the time I bought the Ram it was very competitively priced on Amazon, this tempted me to go for a 32gb kit.

Not a massive RGB fanboy but this does brighten up the interior of my PC for sure. I chose this because i am a fanboy of Corsair - quality build and reliability. This 32GB upgrade was perfect - from a 16GB previous. Notice the extra speed and load times, it certainly allows me to multi task and use more applications / software at the same time. Wanted the faster clock speed which is available (3600MHz) but it did not work with my motherboard despite the website from manufacturer stating it does, which is a shame - so i got this and plug and play! Perfect. I can recommend this 3200MHz if this is the fastest your board will support.

ARGB is amazing on these, they look nice with every build I saw them In. Build quality is obviously outstanding.

RGB tax is strong in these tho.
But if you care for looks these sticks are totally worth it.

I haven't overclocked them yet so I'm not sure how they will take it but right now they are running on 3200mhz on Ryzen 5 3600x without any issues whatsoever.
